Had gastric sleeve. Regret not going to a weight loss center. You go to classes at Seton which are worthless, they just give you a packet and weigh you in. No valuable information given. No nutrional support at office. Three weeks after surgery I could eat normal with almost no full feeling. Sleeve is way to big. Except for the person who answers the phone initially, office staff is rude and totally make you feel like you are bothering them.

I went in for lapband surgery. It was supposed to be fairly routine surgery and I was supposed to go home a few hours later. I ended up in the hospital for four months, mainly in ICU. I received dunning notices about my bill from this doctor's office while I was still in a coma, even though I had already paid $10,000. Apparently, my esophagus was perforated during the surgery. No one admitted to how or why this happened. I would never go to this physician again. I had last rites read to me 3 times while I was hospitalized. I very nearly died.

I had emergency surgery (and then some!), ending up hospitalized or in rehab for 8 months. He came to see me virtually every day I was in the hospital and told me everything I wanted to know in as much detail as I wanted to know it - he even drew pictures! He was just as informative to my husband and relatives. He's not one for casual conversation but is more than willing to take the time to talk and listen. I never felt rushed or that I was asking too many questions. He is the ultimate professional - a superb surgeon who has been rated as one of the best. I feel very lucky that he happened to be around when I needed help.

He said I had a cyst in my wrist and tryed to remove it leaving the back of my hand numb because he cut nerves. He also removed stitches too soon and it popped open before I got out of the parking lot. He then re stitched it.

Dr. Dillawn was assigned to me when I was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. He said he was absolutely sure it was apendecitis and took it out unnecessarily...it was really my gallbladder.
