I saw Dr. Bronstein for carpal tunnel symptoms. At my first appointment, he had me do a few things with my hands/wrists and told me I had carpal tunnel. He asked if I had tried to wear braces at night to alleviate my symptoms. When I told him no, he said that I should start with braces. I asked him if I could get these braces at the drug store. Dr. Bronstein said that he had them in his office and that they were better because they weren't so "universal" and would fit my hands/wrists better. I paid $42 and change for each splint (approx. $85 total, which is not covered by insurance). After arriving home, I looked up the splints online. The same brace (Heley Weber Part #5819) on Amazon: $21.99 each. The same brace at the "Rehab Store": $17.99 each. I paid more than twice the price, so I could have braces that said "The Bronstein Hand Center" on them. When I called the office the next day and told them what I learned, explained to them I had not worn the braces, and asked to bring them back for a refund, they said they can't do that. Price gouging at its best. I can only imagine what happens when you elect to have surgery with this outfit. Nope. Not for me. I cancelled my follow up appointments and will take my business elsewhere.

Best bedside manner and listener out of three hand specialists I've seen. He's very knowledgeable and I have great confidence in him. I highly recommend him.

I actually cannot remember the insurance company. My husband was a member of Iron Workers. I had 3 different surgeries by Dr. Bronstein. All 3 were successful. I had more trouble with the nurses at Summerlin who messed up my IVs when the anesthesiologist told me to tell them not to do the IV, but they did and I ended up with an IV in the foot. I had 2 Guyon canal releases along with 2 carpal tunnel releases as well as 2 ulnar nerve transpositions, I would recommend him to anyone. He answered any and all questions I asked of him. I transcribe for a living and I need my hands, and I don't think I would be able to do that now if not for him operating on me.

I saw Bronstein for a "pinched nerve"in the arm. After he sent me to his neurologist "friend", he pushed me into surgery. Almost immediately, my pain got worse and worse. His answer was it was my fault for the surgical failure. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? After going back and forth to him for over 8 months and a different answer from him each time, I caught on that he was covering up. I went to a different neurologist who had no referral relationship with Bronstein. After thorough testing, it turns out I have MS!!!. Bronstein did unnecessary surgery on MS symptoms. Now I am in pain from his scar tissue. Can't sleep, pain all day. Taking PT 4-5X/week to relieve the scar tissue and damaged nerve. If you are inclined to go to Bronstein, see your own neurologist first and if Bronstein recommends surgery-get second and third opinion-to make sure it is not a systemic NEUROLOGICAL disease-not just some "pinched nerve" in arm, hand or shoulder. Don't end up like me-worse, miserable and ruined.
