I am writing to support the last person who wrote about her experience with Johns Hopkins vs. Dr. Cosin. I was dianozed of recurred ovarain cancer in 2009. As the tumor was in an odd place, the surgeon at JH told me that I had little chance to survive the surgery and about 2% chance of being cured if I were to survive the surgery. I came to Dr.Cosin who performed my surgery successfully and suggested a radiation treatement as a follow up. I've been cancer free for 2 years now. Dr. Cosin is truely my hero.

Dr. Cosin is hands down one of the best doctors I've ever had the fortune of encountering. I recently finished a 3+ medical ordeal that started at Johns Hopkins (which SUCKED) and ended at WHC. The doctors at JH's had a nonchalant, "we see this everyday" type of attitude (which was a lie b/c after being “treated” and paying over $3000 in medical bills, the problem still existed. Dr. Cosin (and his staff) were attentive, caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Cosin was frank about my (still unknown) prognosis and sought assistance from other medical experts regarding areas he did not specialize in. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cosin to any woman in need of an awesome gynecologist specializing in oncology.

Dr. Cosin is excellent. Not only takes time to carefully explain EVERYTHING, but takes time to listen to you, and address your concerns and answer questions clearly and thoroughly. Dr. Cosin performed an in/out surgery last year right after my prep and he took time to come and talk to me before the surgical procedure. He's exceptional!

This doctor walks on water as far as I'm concerned. I went to him thinking I'd get information on a possible robotic procedure and then go elsewhere for it if I were a candidate. But I was so impressed with him at the visit, with the generous amout of time he gave me and with the clear and thorough explanations to my many questions, that I had him do my surgery. He was available to e-mail questions both before and after my surgery. His bedside manner was perfect, calming and confident. This doctor is a true gem. Be prepared for a long wait prior to your appointment but that is because he is generous in the time he gives every patient.
