I was obviously nervous to get a vasectomy however whole process was quick and easy. I literally felt a rubber band flick from the numbing meds and that was it. Didn’t feel a thing. After the decision of my wife and I not wanting anymore kids I decided it was time to take one for the team and pull the trigger in getting a vasectomy. After extensive research I stumble upon Dr. Benderev and I am so happy I did. After reading all the positive reviews and reading his methods it made me more positive in what was to come and it put me at ease. Booking was a very easy task and the 15 minute virtual consultation explained everything that was to come and Dr. Benderev answered any questions I had. Once my appointment came I arrived at very nice clean office and was handed 2 extra strength Tylenol before the procedure. I was then shortly asked to come into the back and begin my procedure. The whole time Dr. Benderev explains everything he is doing step-by-step. I really appreciated how he was talking to me the whole time and distracted me during the whole procedure. I was very impressed with the way the anesthetic is administered. No needle and no pain. You only feel a small little pinch. The whole procedure took about 20-30 minutes. You feel absolutely no pain and only a little bit of pressure. Once I was done I was explained the care instructions and what was to come after. Dr. Benderev provides you with his personal cell in case if you have any questions and he responds in a very timely manner. I really appreciated that he has amazing bedside manners and you can tell he really cares for his patients. A couple hours after my procedure he was so kind to call me and check in how I was doing. I have never had that type of service with any doctor and that say so much. The whole experience has been so good and I recommend this office and Dr. Benderev 100 percent. I have had little to almost no pain in which I am so amazed by. So if your are in the fence about doing this do it!

Dr Benderev and his staff are amazing. It is amazing how organized the whole process is. You are able to schedule a counseling appointment, fill out all the required paperwork and get your insurance information completed with a very simple online patient portal. The consultation is done using a very simple and secure video conference where he explains the procedure and answers any and all of your questions. Dr Benderev is very kind and personable and has an amazing amount of experience. Just two days after the consultation was my procedure.

I was nervous going into the procedure. Him and his staff put you at ease as best they can. Like I said before, Dr Benderev is very kind and easy to talk to. He seems to really care that every one of his patients has a very successful and relatively pain free procedure. There is about 10 minutes of prepping and getting you comfortable and 10 minutes for the actual procedure. The Dr talks to you through the entire procedure and again tries to make you as comfortable as possible. Before you know it you are done. Not kidding, I thought I was half way through and he looks over and says you’re done. I was definitely more nervous than I needed to be. There is literally no pain with the injection (no needle) and the incision. I did feel a little pressure for a moment at the beginning but absolutely no sharp pains. I would rather do this procedure again than go to the dentist. I was able to walk out of the office feeling fine.

I am now on day 2 of rest. I took Tylenol and now ibuprofen as described and no pain. Dr Benderev even calls you personally to check on you. Again, this Dr truly cares about his patients. I am just following the post procedure orders which is taking is easy! I would recommend and even encourage others to go to him because of how easy the entire process is and how professional and experienced he is.

If you are thinking about getting a vasectomy, Dr. Benderev is the doctor you should see. I was pretty nervous going in to get this procedure done, but Dr. Benderev immediately puts you at ease. He is very informative and personable making the whole experience much easier. The procedure itself is fast and painless, and afterward the recovery is quick with only a little soreness and relatively no pain. Would recommend to anyone thinking about this procedure to talk to Dr. Benderev.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would for my vasectomy experience. From the beginning of the process to after recovery it has been a phenomenal experience with my health care. He makes it convenient for online telehealth initial consultation, provides volumes of information, makes you feel at ease. He is professional and caring. He runs on time, his office is nice and the procedure itself was quick and painless ( i was only there for 30 minutes from start to finish). he has a patented delivery for the local that is incredible. He takes his time to give you all the information you need and answer all questions comments and concerns. It is refreshing to meet a doctor who actually cares. He even follows up via cell and gives you his personal cell number to make sure every need is met. I cant thank him enough for making it a pleasant experience. If you are even thinking about getting a vasectomy, he is the man to go to, he's the best. stop thinking about it and just make an appointment, he relieves any fear and anxiety about it. there is a lot of misinformation on the internet and from other people. he was booked out pretty far for initial, but I asked to be on the cancellation list and a spot opened up within 2 weeks. Right now i am on day 3 of recovery and i have zero pain, slight discomfort, but i am back to work with no issues. the piece of mind this is giving my wife and myself is invaluable.
This has been MY experience. All medical procedures do come with risks, but he gives detailed information about the risks and makes sure that you are fully informed.

I recently had a vasectomy done with Dr. Benderev. After alot of research and reviews I knew that I chose the right Doctor. Almost every doctor in California does about 100-150 vasectomies a year. Dr. Benderev does over a thousand. His knowledge and state of the art technology made my process and procedure very easy and very very painless. I was scared about getting this procedure done, as every man probably is. But Dr. Benderev has so much experience, I didn’t feel any pain and I was done in 20-30 minutes. He made me feel very comfortable and believe it or not I actually had a great time. He made my decision to get a vasectomy the right decision. Thank you Dr. Benderev. You are great at what you do.

Dr. Benderev made this experience the best it could be. He clearly explained everything prior to the procedure. During the procedure he let me know what he was going to do before he did it and he also made small talk throughout the quick procedure so it was over before I knew it. He then went over follow up care. He and his office checked in with me a few times during recovery. Recovery was not to bad for me, never took more than a Tylenol. I highly recommend Dr. Benderev to anyone getting a vasectomy. If you and your spouse are debating vasectomy vs. tubal ligation, GET THE VASECTOMY! The procedure is quick, Dr. Benderev is great, and the recovery is very manageable.
