Terrible staff led by a cruel and nasty lady named Ester. Doc is borderline below average. Shows up late, wrong diagnostic tests ordered and no follow up. Avoid.

I had a 12:00 appointment I arrived at 11:40 early enough to fill out the usual new patient paperwork. I signed in handed a girl my insurance card for copies. I couldn't help feeling if we ignore him he might leave. That's exactly what I did at 12:25!!!

I saw him once.I was referred to him by my PC doctor. It took me forever to get an appointment. The woman up front, Ester is very rude and short on the phone. First they told me they don't take my insurance. I told them I already checked online and he was in network, they said OK. The day before my appointment, they called to confirm and I confirmed, however, again they told me I would have to pay out of pocket because they don't take my insurance. I told her we already went through this. She said, come if you want, but you will have to pay out of pocket. I had to call my insurance company, and have them call the office to tell them they are in fact an in-network provider. How can a doctors office be so out of line and incompetent. Furthermore, I had a follow-up test done. It's now been 1 week, and 2 calls into the office to get my results. and still no call back. I'm sure if it was this doctor's family member, or a staff member or one of their family members they wouldn't have to wait a week. If he is this neglectful, why is he still practicing?

Had ordered STAT CT scan.Never contacted for results.Took two calls over period of two days intercepted by an
incomptent MA to get a call back from Dr.Falkowitz.Seemed not to care about patient's right to have report and treatment plan.As a nurse since 1975 I have never seen a poorer run office.Front desk people doesn't have clue of disease processes.Turn over in MAs seem frequent.I think Dr.Falkowitz should retire.I have made appointment with another pulmonary doctor.Very concerned as a healthcare professional at the lack of empathy and follow through for his patients.Would never recommend him to anyone.

Totally inept front office staff. It took an entire week (which included two faxes and three phone calls from my pharmacy and three phone calls from myself) for the staff to get a prescription change because my insurance wouldn't cover the original prescribed medication.

Very nasty staff. The woman up front, who I believe is named Ester, is very rude and talks down to you. She made me wait 10 minutes while she made a personal call on her cell phone.
