I am writing this review with great disappointment and frustration regarding the recent experience I had with Dr. Linkenhokers office. I received a last-minute cancellation that left me feeling discriminated against and deeply disrespected.
It is important to mention that my appointment was confirmed well in advance (months) However, when I received the call informing me of the cancellation, the person on the other end made a series of assumptions without seeking any clarification or further discussion. This lack of professionalism and disregard for the truth was unacceptable.
The individual who contacted me to cancel the appointment displayed a shocking level of ignorance by assuming that my sons religious exemption automatically disqualified him from receiving medical care. Instead of taking the time to inquire about the details or explore alternative solutions, they acted hastily and dismissively. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also incredibly rude, leaving me feeling marginalized and discriminated against.
It is disheartening to think that in this day and age, medical professionals still harbor prejudiced views that hinder their ability to provide equal and fair treatment to all patients. Discrimination should never have a place within the healthcare system, as it directly contradicts the principles of compassion and care that doctors should uphold.
I strongly urge Dr. Linkenhokers office to reflect upon this incident and take immediate action to address the discriminatory behavior exhibited by their staff. Patients deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of their religious beliefs or exemptions. It is my hope that they will implement proper training programs and protocols to ensure that no other patient has to endure such unprofessional treatment in the future.
