Oh Halloween night, 2008, i was at my daughters house in Willow Springs. My "job" was to lower this large spider on a string, down on kids coming out from the garage under the front part of the house. The porch rail gave way and I did a header on the concrete below which snapped my neck. Dr. Sami Khoshyomn was the only doctor on the staff who even thought he could help me. Well, he did and now, 12 yrs later and I just had my 81st birthday, I'm here to tell you that Dr. Sami gave me back "the rest of my life" from that night to this. He came to my room & visited while I was there at the hospital and later, as I traveled, I would pass through Springfield and visit him and his marvelous staff. I think of him more as a friend than my doctor..

Dr. Sami has been awesome with my daughter who has been diagnosed with IIH. He calmed all of our fears and he answered all of our questions! He is a great person and his staff is wonderful as well!

This man as well as Amanda have been awesome with my mom and explaining things to us as well as answering all of our questions. He takes his time and has never made us feel like he was in a rush to be some other place. I would recommend him to anyone needing a Neurosurgeon.

As a patient with multiple spine problems that are hindering my life, Dr. Sami and Amanda Vance have done nothing to help me. In fact I actually learned more about my condition from my physical therapist than I did from both of these "doctors".

Dr Sami has an obvious concern for his patients and takes time to communicate clearly. I would highly recommend him and I'm grateful for his care of my family member.

My niece was born with her brain exposed from a neurotube defect. Dr. Sami Khoshyomn operated on her and saved her life. She had a small chance of survival, but is now a beautiful six year old. Later, I had a spinal tumor, and he removed it and later when it proved malignant, he did resection of my spine and yet was able to preserve the spinal cord and use of my right arm. Mercy is lucky to have him. Not only is he the best in his profession, but he also has a kind bedside manner, and truly cares for his patients. Holding a scalpel is not his passion, helping people is.
