Dr Balder needs to be investigated before he kills someone. Why hasn't someone slapped a malpractice suit against him?

I had my surgery 1 yr ago. prior to surgery, he was wonderful. I paid cash, after surgery, he was completely diff. great bedside manner prior to surgery,horrible bedside manner after surgery. Any complications or problems I may have been having, his response was that it was something I had done or was not doing. Not supportive at all after surgery ( when you need it the most) I ended up not going back but a few times after surgery due to how he made me feel. he was not interested in helping me following surgery. I was then contacted by my insurance company about a procedure he filed that I DID NOT have. at this point I feel the 25 lbs I have lost have def not been worth the $10,000 cash I paid !!!

I was a patient of Dr. Balder. He performed surgery on me and I have been sick ever since. I kept going back to him and complaining of pain and telling him how sick I was. He told me there was nothing wrong with me. I have consulted 2 different surgeons and have found out he has botched up my insides. I have read online that I am not the only one this has happened too. This explains why he keeps moving from state to state ever couple of years. He was in Charlotte NC less than a year.

I have a lot of issues, I have seeked legal advise and another Md come to find out Dr Balder is in a lot of legal trouble. He moves every 2-3 years leaving many patients behind with pending legal issue with him. Be very careful you may have a better out come but for me and others it was not the best MD for me.

Dr. Balder is WONDERFUL. I recently had gastric bypass and was very nervous about making the final decision. Dr. Balder is very patient and understanding. If he is late for an appointment it is because he is spending time with another patient explaining their needs to them. I know during my consultation he spent over an hour with me discussing the surgery options and which one he thought was best for me. He made me feel like I was his only patient and I really appreciated that. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He is not ashamed to recommend faith in prayer, having God in your life, and studying the Bible. This provided me with a lot of confidence in knowing that I had chosen the best doctor for me. He gives his patients his personal cell phone number and expects them to use it if they have any questions at any time. I couldn't have asked for a better or more caring doctor than Dr. Balder.

Please compare dr's! No one is perfect but some feel they are.

Had to wait over an hour and he didn't appolize for the wait. The staff was very helpful. Not sure I will continue with Dr. Balder at this time.
