Biography
Dr. Tellez received his bachelor of science degree and his medical degree at the University of Southern California (USC). He is a full-time pediatrician at the Cerritos office of Pioneer Medical Group and is fluent in English and Spanish. Early in medical school Dr. Tellez realized that treating and caring for children would bring him the greatest fulfillment. Dr. Tellez completed his pediatric residency at University of California Irvine (UCI) and has been practicing in and around the Los Angeles area since 1989. His love for children and his outgoing and warm personality make his office a comfortable environment for the many children and families that he treats each day. Dr. Tellez has instructed future doctors at the UCI Medical School, and has held leadership positions with the Pediatric departments of a variety of medical groups and facilities. When not working with patients, Dr. Tellez enjoys spending time with his son. In addition, he enjoys travel, skiing, golf, and softball.
