My mother was Dr. Patrias patient. She had not been in for 2 years. She fell and broke her hip and in the process they found a mass on her lung. When I called Dr. Patrias for a referral, she told me that she didn’t think that my mother was still her patient and she would be opening herself for a malpractice suit if she consulted me. This 2 years was during COVID.

My first experience with this doctor I asked about having labs drawn at my yearly check-up as that’s what my previous doctor always did, she turned to me and said “well, do you feel like you need labs drawn?” What? How do you know if something is wrong if you never look? My second experience with her was when I was very very ill and had a fever going on 6 days of 103, I went in, she looked at me and said “Oh. You look sick.” Then proceeded to give me IV fluids in office (NO VITALS TAKEN) and talked about wanting to draw blood to make sure it was a virus and not an infection. She then came back a half hour later and took the IV out herself and did not take blood. After 3 more days of a fever of 103 (10 days at this point) I bypassed her office and went straight to urgent care where they took vitals and blood, but unfortunately had to follow up with her to get the results. When she walked into the follow-up appointment she immediately started to gaslight me saying “remember when I asked you if [staff member] had taken your blood, and you said yes? And that’s why I sent you home without taking it?” No. That never happened, and why would the patient be responsible for making sure the doctor does their job. Very worrisome that she treats many elderly patients in the Chelsea area.

This "doctor" is a whack job. She prescribed a medication that I have allergies to. Thank goodness the pharmacy caught it.She is a bully and if someone doesn't agree with her, you are labeled as being a problem patient. Don't question anything she does, because she will drop you. I requested my medical records to change doctors and she called me and was very rude and demanding to know why I was switiching.

Came in for problems breathing so she talked about my anxiety issues in front of people in the waiting room with the door open, after waiting over an hour by the way. Didnt listen to anything I had concerns about and just refilled my previous prescriptions. Also two diagnoses she had given mewere completely changed, when i asked why after over a year she changed them she just laughed and said yeah i changed my mind hah. I figured okay, just a bad visit, that happens right? Called the next day because I taste blood when i cough now and recieved a call from the secretary saying oh thats fine. I asked for an explanation and they just said no. Really just feel like a dollar sign to this doctor.

This Doctor is a very uncaring doctor. My Dad had to see her because his doctor was on a medical leave and she would not refill Dad prescriptions that he has taken for a long time. At the end of the visit my Mom had some more questions and she told them that she had spent enough time with them already and had to go, and was downright nasty about it. STAY AWAY

Dr. Patrias is uncommonly caring. She is very warm and reassuring. I am always certain she will not leave a problem without identifying it and starting an intelligent response for treatment. Underneath her calm and quiet demeanor is a physician of extreme competence. She is not flashy. What she is, is your best ally against any disease or other problems that come with day to day life. If Rebecca Patrias is your physician, believe me, you're in very good hands.

Three women in my family are partnered with Dr Becky for our health and medical needs, ages 85, 59, 55. We all are very satisfied with our care. She keeps fantastic records, gives me a copy of her evaluation for my own records at every visit. She has recommended me to very capable specialists when needed. She is the best GP I have had. Strongly recommended.

Was sent to her by another doctor. She came into the exam room, not knowing me at all, and basically accused me of being a drug addict. She was a bully and very unpleasant. I've never been treated like that by a doctor in my life!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Patrias' for 20 - 25 years. She was my deceased mother's doctor as well. Her care has been excellent and she is an outstanding doctor and human being. She is kind, available and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend her without reservation. I am conservative in my views, a teacher and mother. I am outraged by the accusations by other reviewers on this site. It is slander.

Stay away from this office. The doctor is questionable in her practices of medicine and insurance.
