Dr. Nicholson is an excellent surgeon who gave me my life back in 2016 after struggling with repeated episodes of painful diverticulitis for over 10 years. My bowel resection procedure and follow up care was exceptional. I recommend Dr. Nicholson to everyone I meet.

I met Dr Nicholson after I had an operation to remove diverticulitis. Due to the mess the previous Dr made I had an extreme infection and had to be admitted to the hospital and treated for the infection first. Dr Nicholson is the only reason my colon could be repaired and a permanent colostomy would not be needed. Both he and his staff are a wonderful caring supportive group. I would never go to anyone else.

The way he treated me was absolutely disgusting. Was very rough and completely insensitive. His assistants screamed at me. He was in the room for less than 5 minutes and then argued with me and basically accused me of lying about my problem.

Best Colorectal surgeon in York. Had a portion of my Colon removed. There were no problems. He took great care of me.

Doctor gives short and quick answers, doesn't take time with patients. Doesn't explain procedures or options. He was unprofessional and rude and not just on one occasion. Staff are completely incompetent. Everything in the personal chart that was read back to us in post op was wrong had we had to be corrected - including but not limited to height, weight, and date of surgery (a surgery they performed btw!). Doctor couldn't even take time to see us for first visit post op. Won't ever go back here. The full story is much longer, if I could won't not even give him or his staff a 1 star rating, they don't deserve it! I recommend no one use him or his services!

Dr. Nicholson is the best. He literally re-built me so I can have normal life. hundreds of miles away but will travel to remain his patioent

Dr Nicholson, is the best. There are not enough words to say how good he is. I love the care and compassion you get from him and the staff. I would recommend him to anyone. He help save my life. I had rectal anal cancer and heat perform this surgery. He did an excellent job because I ended up not having to have a colostomy bag. I will never get anywhere else if I ever need anything like that again. Absolutely the most fantastic doctor ever
