Atlanta Radiology sent my $82 balance to collection prior to invoicing me or making any attempt to contact me. The collection statement was dated 55 days after I received service while in the hospital and it was several days after that before I was even released. Avoid this practice at all costs if you value your credit score! I pay my bills timely and have spotless credit. For them to send a patient to collection before they bill that patient in unreasonable and unprofessional.
