Dr Chan may be a top rated dr in NJ, which is great for expertise. However, he is abrasive and cold. I brought my mom in to have a pin removed from her finger. My mom hurt herself on the job and missed a week of work. When my mom was asking questions about work and comp, the nurse answered for the doctor. She was so rude and because she answered, the doctor ignored my moms question. Then my mom asked again, and it's almost as if you could see the anger in the doctors facial expression. Then he yelled and I am not exaggerating.... He yelled 'I heard you Before' It really put us off that a DOCTOR would be this harsh. He proceeded to pull the pin out in such an angry fashion with no consideration to how much pain he was going to cause by doing this. He didn't even warn my mom; hr just angrily pulled out the pin. This is the first time I have ever walked out of a dr office so appalled that a person younger than my mom was screaming at her as if she was a child. I was outraged and upset all day about this. I just feel compassion is key in being a doctor and doctors should control their anger. My mom wasn't trying to beat the system. She wanted fair compensation for the week she missed. Furthermore, she, like everyone else, wants a kind compassionate doctor.

Dr Chan was only physician who was willing to "fix" my broken hand without performing surgery. My hand is as good as new now and I would recommend him to all.
