Dr. Bello is a surgeon with skill, compassion and the ability to understand his patient as a whole person. He is an excellent example of humanism in medicine. Each step of the way, Dr. Bello leaves no question unanswered. His patients are in capable and kind hands.

Dr. Bello performed my mother's colon re-section, cancer removal on two occasions. Once when she was 70 and again recently at 85 years old. He was extremely comforting, provides a sense of confidence and trust with a sense of humor. Visited her every day and even called her directly in her hospital room on his day off. As far as I am concerned, he has saved my Mother's life on two occasions and I would use him personally for a surgical procedure at HMC. He is very thorough and pro-active.

Dr. Bello did not follow up after surgery, nor did he have his colleagues or staff bother to see me in the hospital after surgery or make a simple phone call. INEXCUSABLE!

Great surgeon- horrible personality. Arrogant, condescending, and unwilling to answer questions. Go to the brother or another practice.
