Let me preface by saying that I have never left a review for anyone before so I'm not the type to just go around leaving bad reviews because I don't like someone or anything. My experience with this doctor was from 15 years ago but it was SO afwul, that I have never forgotten it and have always wanted to tell her how much she needlessly hurt me that day, but I know in the end it won't help me and I don't think it would change anything with her because I've never met such a judgemental, know-it-all (the kind who is wrong about what they claim to know), snobby, condescending, pile of expletives in my life. However, if I can possibly help someone else by telling everyone not to go to her, then I'll leave a review instead.
15 years ago I had a miscarriage at 3 months along, and when I was crying at a check-up appointment with her afterwards, I had asked her if it was my fault since I drank alcohol before I found out I was pregnant (which was 9 days after missed period). She told me yes it was my fault even though I quit drinking and smoking the day I found out. I broke down and blamed myself for many years after that. On top of this, she tried insisting that I use a type of birth control that I am allergic to which caused a horrible condition for me called pseudotumor cerebrai, because in her words, I shouldn't be having kids and I don't deserve them. She proceeded to call me a liar when I told her I can't take or use hormonal birth control anymore, that I was making up information, acted like I was an idiot and told me the birth control doesn't cause this. Just so everyone is aware, now that Google exists, you can look it up. Pseudotumor Cerebrai. There was indeed such thing and I should know because I had been hospitalized many times from it and told by two neurologists that that the hormones from the birth control was the cause. It is the reason I am partially permently blind and have massive pressure in my head daily. I was very quiet and nonconfrontational back then since I was 22 years old, and I was also so shocked and speechless from the whole appointment that I just got up and walked out without saying anything. For the next 15 years I have thought of so many things I wish I could say to her now that I know better.
I want to add that a few years after this, the symptoms of my condition seemed to taper off for a little while, so I stupidly tried the hormonal birth control again and I was hospitalized immediately. So I knew right then that she was the one who was 100% WRONG for telling me that both of those neurologists didn't know what they were talking about. And then a few years after THAT, I found out that the reason for my first miscarriage that she told me was MY FAULT for drinking alcohol a few days into pregnancy, and also the two after that, which thank god she was not my doctor for, was due to PCOS and low progesterone levels.
I 100% recommend finding a different doctor. I would NEVER see her again if my life depended on it. I wouldn't even ask her to throw water on me if I was on fire. I hope I never see this lady again. I cannot believe she is still a "doctor". I was honestly shocked to find out she is still in practice. I literally wish I had asked to see where she went to school since she gives out wrong medical "advice" and her disgusting opinions like a cheap hooker passing out blowjobs.
Good luck if you ever get this lady as your doctor, and if you already have, I'd get a second opinion if hers seemed off. Because it was probably WAY off.
