A mixed review. I started to see Dr. Constable before the pandemic and initially achieved good results. Something was lost when her services went all virtual including the monthly weigh-in on a scale that measures muscle mass as well as weight to make sure you are losing safely and in the right proportions. While Dr. Constable is clearly a thought leader in weight management, her approach is not for everyone and her restrictive plan was ultimately not sustainable. In addition, her services were expensive at $150 for a 15-minute video call and insurance not accepted. She also constantly her snack products, which while admittedly good-tasting, add to the investment. After a certain point, I could not justify the cost. In addition, she consistently ran behind schedule, whether in person or virtual.

Great doctor whom I believe truly cares about her patients. I will say you feel a little bit like your on an assembly line and she is spewing out the same speech she gives to all of the patients. She really pushes her various bars and foods. You can probably get the same foods at Whole Foods or a health good store and for much less than she charges. I don’t think her diet plan is sustainable for many people. I know some have been able to maintain it but it is extremely expensive to do so and it really is an extremely restrictive diet. I felt like I was on a crash diet the entire time I was with her and she really had no solutions to the issues I was having as a result.

Beware....this Dr's office will bill for days you weren't seen and ask you to schedule a return visit when you only need to pick up paperwork and interpret your insurance instead of following what is actually allowed. When notified of errors will be accused on forging paid receipts by office manager even when i have copies of credit card statements proving payments were made. The doctor didn't even remember my first visit prior to returning for second visit when only needed to pick up paper work for routine blood work. I didn't even get a call from the doctor once my routine blood work was completed to notify me of the results.

The person that posted a negative review on April 5, 2017 must live in another world (crazy). 2 signs posted - Medicare deductible and no cell phone (which every doctor has). The $25 printed material fee is okay for all the paper work giving me through the year. Doctor Constable wants you to come to a certain amount of visits because if you are not serious about your diet, why go there. Most of the foods are bought from the grocery store and protein bars are recommended but not manditory but is there if you want to buy some. Referring to the 2 girls at the front desk, there are 2 girls of minoritity and I fell this is a racial slur against them. All the people I have spoken with the waiting room say nothing but good things about her. I had tried every diet that was out there, nothing worked. I have lost 100 pounds in about a year and a half and have kept it off for another year, obviously she knows what she is doing. Before you listen to a negative post, why don't you walk into her waiting room and talk to other patients, everyone I have talked to have said nothing but great things about her - not one negative word have I ever heard in the waiting room. The waiting room is where you are going to get an honest opinion. Once when I was there I was talking to a man next to me that turned out to be a doctor. I was very impressed that even other doctors need her program. Person that wrote the review on 4/5/17 YOU ARE A NUT CASE !!!!

As we all know, losing weight is a challenge that often ends in failure. Until now, I was never able to lose and keep off my unwanted weight. Dr. Constable understands this challenge as she has battled her own weight her entire life. If you want a solution to your weight problem, I would highly recommend Dr. Constable.

I very rarely take it upon myself to write reviews but after losing weight through Dr. Constable's program, I felt compelled to do so as her program has truly changed my life. Prior to seeing Dr. Constable, I had tried every diet you can think of. The doctor immediately made me feel at ease and took the time to explain the science behind her program. She is extremely thorough and very encouraging, helping me lose over 80 pounds in 18 months. I cannot say enough great things about this doctor and her program.

I saw Dr. Constable for the first time, and was nervous as I have struggled with weight loss for years, with no success. Contrary to what I expected, I found her very kind, very patient and really took her time with me. There is no question that weight loss is a commitment and requires changes, but this is not nearly as rigorous as the Atkins diet, and I am allowed to eat fruits, vegetables, proteins,
and even some starch. She did have protein bars available, but they were not required. She has a very holistic approach, and discusses sleep, exercise, and stress in your life as it affects weight loss. I am not required to take any weight loss medication, or get any shots. For me this has been a lifesaver, as I had sugar addiction and was on my way to diabetes. I feel so much better, and am grateful that this compassionate doctor came into my life.

Dr. Constable is mainly focused on her bottom line. Her waiting room is filled with rude notices/reprimands about only taking one bottle of water, the financial cost if we're late or miss an appointment, and such things. She actually charges, on the first visit, a $25. fee for "paperwork"! She wants you locked into a certain number of appointments, and has you sign a form agreeing to this. (I did not). She says it's to encourage a patient's commitment, but, with money such a constant theme, that is doubtful. Part of the diet program includes very expensive protein bars made by a company just for the doctor. I have rarely been with such an uncaring doctor, and her "personalized diet program" is a bunch of hooey. I received a printout, obviously used for others, and she personalized it by crossing out things with pen and writing in corrections. My "personalized" plan included a food to which I'm deathly allergic, as she had been previously advised, and an admonition to get at least 7 hours sleep, though she'd previously expressed concern that I slept too much. Her "scientific" explanation of how fat cells are emptied was laughable. I have to agree with the other reviewer that her practice is a sham. Also agree that her desk assistants are not the sharpest. I can't imagine where the positive reviewers came from, unless they are "plants" from the financially focused doctor herself.
