Amazing surgeon Feeling way better after Cervical spinal surgery

Dr. Andrew Hecht and his team have been a total blessing to me and my family. They have try a conservative treatment before suggesting surgery until it was absolutely necessary. He remained outstanding, affordable, friendly, willing to answer all my questions and has a wonderful team that makes you feel fully supported during whole process.

Dr. Hecht and his team were amazing. I had been to other surgeons and all of them wanted to do a fusion, and he told me it wasn’t necessary. I had surgery with him and his team was fantastic, caring, and professional. Recovering after surgery is always tough but I felt like I had the support of his team along the way. I am now doing great and it is all thanks to him.

Wonderful experience. He treated me for over 2 years before I finally had surgery. One of the most patient and caring doctors I have ever met. He explained everything about my procedure and my neck has not felt this good in years. My arm pain is gone. I looked at surgeons at HSS and NYU. This was an easy decision. He truly cares about his patients.

When he told me l didn't need surgery he was very abrupt and nasty. I was happy l didn't need surgery but his attitude made me feel intimidated. I cried on the way out.

warm , kind wonderful doctor and very skilled. great staff, and bedside manner. I have never met any doctor like him. He spent so much time with me and my husband explaining things and was there for my entire recovery. No question was left unanswered. He fixed my neck and i have not felt better. thank you Dr H. I have been playing tennis again for first time in years.

Dr. Hecht maybe a skilled surgeon, but in my case he was very abrupt and almost condescending. In the middle of a question he walked out of the room. Maybe he has good days and bad days. I've met with him 3 times, time for me to find another Dr. who cares about my back condition.

the most wonderful physician. he fixed my cervical disc herniation. I have not had any pain since. His staff is great, his assistants are great and he is so warm and informative. I have returned to skiing this winter! I could not recommend any doctor more highly.

Prior to engaging Dr. Hecht, I had been dealing with Spinal Stenosis for 3+ years, going through the full spectrum of treatments: pain management, chiropractic, steroid injections, and finally, laser surgery. All treatments failed. The Sciatica caused by the Spinal Stenosis prevented me from walking/standing for more than 5 minutes. Dr. Hecht quickly diagnosed the problem, performed the surgery, and provided excellent after-care. I am 100% to where I was before the problem surfaced. Dr. Hecht and his team were exceptional every step along the way.

Prior to visiting Dr. Hecht, I tried pain management, chiropractor visits, 3 epidural injections, and laser spine surgery. However, there was no relief to the Sciatica caused by severe Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. Walking and standing was very painful. Dr. Hecht performed a Laminectomy and I could walk and stand with no pain within 1 week and back to work in 3 weeks. Over the next 4 months I steadily improved to where I am 100% today. I have since recommended Dr. Hecht to 3 others with similar spine problems. Dr. Hecht is a true professional.
