They never return call, and he doesn’t seem to care about his patients.

I have been seeing Dr Ingram for several years now. It took me 15 years to find this amazing psychiatrist!! He has helped me with my overall health from chronic pain which in turn caused me to have severe depression, anxiety and chronic stress. He does get behind at his old location because he takes the time to listen and take care of each patient. I do not mind waiting for my appointment one bit because he is worth waiting for. He is an absolute God send and I recommend him to anyone that needs a fantastic psychiatrist. He doesn't just give meds and send you on your way. He takes the time to actually talk to you and figure out what medications would work best for you. He's brilliant, down to earth and just the best of the best in his field!!

I have been attending sessions with Dr. Ingram for about 3 years now, and he exceeds any other mental healthcare professional I have ever had in the past. He walked me through my severe depression and helped immensely when I was suicidal. I haven't been at risk for over 2 years now thanks to Dr. Ingram. He cares deeply for each and every patient he has, and will always be very genuine with his advice. I highly recommend his practices!

I began seeing Dr. Ingram earlier this year and I've been very pleased with the level of therapy that I receive. He's down-to-earth, easy to open to, and genuinely makes you feel like he understands everything that I am going through. His advice is great and he's been very calming for my anxiety.

Call me old fashion, but I've always been a bit skeptical about psychiatry. It's mostly my stubborn nature, but I'm the type of person that thinks I can do everything myself. It wasn't until my much-smarter-than-myself wife insisted that I go see a professional did I realize just how wrong I truly was. Like most Americans, I deal with immense stress at work that was also bleeding into my home-life. I soon started having sleepless nights that made everything all the more difficult to manage. When internet research about insomnia and over-the-counter drugs failed, I finally made an appointment with Dr. Ingram. The first thing I'll say is, I can't believe how foolish I was to wait so long! Not only is Dr. Ingram extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to, but he actually seems to genuinely care. My stress and sleep disorder are finally under control and I couldn't be more grateful for the expertise and practical tools I've been provided that I'll utilize forever. THANK YOU DR. INGRAM!

He makes many, many mistakes. He'll assume you have problems you don't even have and overlook and dismiss the real issues to prolong your treatment and his yield of profit from you. Try another doctor, any other doctor.

I have been seeing him for about a month. I am actually starting to see things I never seen before about myself. Its a very scary travel to take a hard honest look at yourself but Dr. Ingram is very nice and keeps me calm through my madness.I don't think I would be alive if it weren't for him or maybe I would just be locked up(very angry) I still haven't been out around people but we are working on that together. My meds actually calm me and I am looking forward to my progress. I like the office(not to mention nobody minds if I straighten up!lol) OCD...But I cant wait to get better. I feel a weight lifted off my shoulders just by having someone to talk to that understands me!His receptionist is very helpful reminding me of my appts as my memory is really bad and shes very nice. thanks to them I may have some normalcy in my life.

He is the BEST mental health professional in Hampton Roads. I have seen many therapists and psychiatrists over the past two years because of an anxiety disorder and no one was taking the time to see what would work for me. They would just hand over drugs and be done with me. Dr. Ingram is quite the opposite. He takes such care with his patients that I have made leaps and bounds since I have been seeing him. He knows what he is talking about and can explain to you what is going on. I love his office and it has an instant calming effect on me. And Marie, his nurse, is very knowledgeable and down to earth. She is always there offering a smile and kind words. Seriously, go to Coastal Psychiatry.

I order things Amazon constantly & always receive a request to rate a product/seller. I "never" take time to do this. But am the first to review feedback of a seller or product for months before I make a purchase. But now I'd like to take time to clearly articulate how Dr. Ingram has "NOT" failed me!! I have been battling with anxiety & depression forever! I am morbidly obese & my self esteem was very low. When I tell you Dr. Ingram not only talked with me for over 2 hours, I felt as though a burden I've never been able to release was lifted when I left his office. I can't imagine anyone not having exceptional service from him. To close this comment...He just has exceptional care & concern for his patients health. The last this he said to me as I left the office was.."Next time we'll start looking at ways to increase your physical health, different eating habits & good mental calming practices to help you grow in the right direction." He is...JUST AWESOME!

He is an amazing Doc. He works well with my son (12yr old) He gets behind a bit sometimes, but I dont mind, because he is more interested in his patent than time. He is young and I think that helps with my son being able to talk to him and relate. He puts things in a way my son can comprehend. He even cough things the other docs missed. I thank God every time we talk to him!
