Dr. Tiegs is an amazing therapist. I've made major strides with him. One piece of advice is to make your appointments early and keep them in the fall as he does book up quick.
Pros:
*Intelligent
*Empathetic
*Takes all kinds of insurance and works with you if you don't have insurance
*Makes you feel comfortable, like coming home to a family member
Cons:
*American Psychological Association (among other organizations) frowns on hugging your big-hearted-teddy-bear-like-therapist.

Dr. Tiegs (a counseling psychologist) is the best counselor I've ever worked with, and I say that with extensive counselor experience. He is devoted to his clients and you can tell the sincerity. He has a wide range of areas in which he is able to help (extensive drug and alcohol counseling, depression, motivation, identity issues, anxiety problems, and other disorders). He is a psychologist who strikes just the right mix of you talking and him talking, and offers sliding scale payments. I do not wish to sound like an infomercial or his lackey but he is a kind, gentle spirit who everyone can appreciate, and that deserves recognition now and again.
