I have been seeing Dr. Vera or should I say Leah for two and a half years now for degenerative disc disease. Dr. Vera never has time for his patients on the other hand if you see Leah his NP she is wonderful. I recently had an alergic reaction to a procedure he did and I was sent to the hospital instead of Dr.Vera even trying to take care of me! I seem to be able to get a better response and compassion if I get to talk to Shelley, on the other hand If Mona answers I get someone who is very rude and has no compassion, she is even told me I have to deal with the pain, and for anyone who has ever had to "deal" with pain knows that it is impossible to do..Dr. Vera also rescheduled my appointment so he can go on vacation, what a joke! If you ever have an immediate issue you can bet this doctor will not respond in a timely manner and you will not see any results!

Have been utilizing Dr. Vera for pain management issues, disk herniations. Recently I went to him with nerve pain in the six ribs I broke. He was able to effectively alleviate the pain so I could function better and sleep without the sporatic pain associated with the nerves. Great relief! The injections he has given me for cervical and lumbar herniations have been highly effective. Someone said the staff was not good but my experience with all of them has been very positive, very professional and caring people all of them. Dr. Vera is an all business, somewhat clinical individual. If you are looking for a good friend in a medical professional you are in the wrong place. I very highly respect his professional expertise and talent in effective pain management as an alternative to surgery. I urge anyone with similar issues to try him out. He is a super talented medical professional, one of the best I have encountered in my sixty plus years of life.

Dr. Vera was very helpful and answered all my questions -- the staff is GREAT!! Very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a visit to this office -- just finished my 2nd round of injection and can feel the pain subsiding -- looking forward to my 3rd injection in a couple of weeks.

Dr. Vera is quite possibly the most arrogant a** I've ever meet. I'm in a ton of pain, and all he did was look at my MRI and tell me that I wasn't in pain. I would not recommend this joke of a doctor to anyone...Please do your due diligence!!!

Staff was rude and abrupt with me, doctor was always overbooked and late for my appointments. Staff unwilling to help with billing error, even though the bill had the doctor's address on it, a thrid party biller was involved and they could not be reached directly.

Very helpful and understanding. Surgery is his very last solution; uses many other ways to help with pain management. Quick responses to phone calls!

He said he could do nothing for me and he referred me to his associate Mr. Robinson for some pain training classes and something called biofeedback. I had to ask him to look over my med collection and he commented that I took way too much and he prescribed nothing to aid in pain relief, which was one of the reasons I went. This is my first pain manager appt. ever and I was unimpressed with the whole visit. It seems that he knew nothing and just referred me to someone who will probably refer me to someone else. Its just frustrating dealing with chronic daily pain and no hope in sight. Dr. Vera did seem quite knowlegable but his knowlege could not help me so it was worthless.
