Thanks to his supporting the agressive treatment I researched & asked for, I remain diabetes-free even 20 years after having been identified as being at high-risk.
I SO appreciate the efficient way he communicates complex information, collects and
processes all the info he needs in order to keep on top of the disease process.
For an endo, being a nerd is a good thing! And he pays attention to PLENTY during the appt & exam, which you might not realize he's tuning in on.

Dr Brard is friendly and a great doctor. Lots of people only rate doctors if they dont connect or have a bad experience and that leaves out all of us that have a great experience as I did. He is an AWESOME doc.

Great bedside manner!! And very polite! At times there has been a wait, but once in the room-things move quickly.

After waiting an hour and a half past my appointment I finally got to see Dr. Brard. When I told him my symptoms he basically scoffed at what he considred were petty symptoms and said there was nothing he could do for me. He didn't take anything I said seriously which made me want to cry. I waited three months for this appointment and it was a total waste of my time.

when messages are left for nursing staff, I never have received a call back until I have complained to the office manager. Slow to refill rx at least a 2 day wait not matter how many times or how urgent meds are needed. I have never had a wait time under 30 minutes then you wait in the exam room for another 30 minutes and finally after an hour wait he sees you for 15-20 minutes and then tells you to schedule again in a few months. His office will not allow you to switch Doctors if you wish once you see a Doctor you are stuck with them FOREVER!

I have seen him for 5 years and still do. He is smart, but has no bedside manner. I don't think he cares much, but he is smart. So I had to decide if I wanted a smart rude doctor or a nice stupid one. I only have to see him 2-3 times a year so I just deal with it. If I had more options I would look into them, but endos are hard to come by especially since they wont let you change to a different doctor within he practice.

Dr, Brard, is a very knowledgeable, caring md and explains things in a way lay people can understand. I have had ca and he knew of a test that required no radiation and was more accurate than a scan.He is very straitfoward w/o being crase or rude. Wish I had started with him years ago.

Dr. Brard was a straight shooter. He didn't play any games and gave me the four options I had. He plainly explained the pros and cons of each option. Being diabetic for two years and not having it under control, his knowledge and straightforwardness was well needed. I appreciate the time he spent with me and the kick in the butt I received. While it was not fun, it was just what the doctor ordered. And, when I was put on a medication I could not afford, Dr. Brard went the extra mile providing samples. I highly recommend Dr. Brard.

I found this Doctor very helpful, Knowledgable and interested in my ailment. His nurse is good also, but the office staff is really bad. I would recommend him, but you will have to put up with a really bad office staff.

I find Dr. Brard very knowledgable about type 1 diabetes. He respects my knowledge of my own disease and is great at helping me come up with solutions for trouble areas. He's been treating me for the past 4 years and we have had several frank discussions about eatting habits, insulin pumps and life as a type 1. He tells it like it is. Others may consider it harsh, but I appreciate it. If I'm slacking off and my blood sugars are starting to creep up, I want a Dr. that will call me out on it. Dr. Brard does that. He's not a hand holder so if you need that in a Dr. then you need to see someone else. The front office staff aren't great, but he shares them with 3 other Drs so the blame isn't entirely his.
