The only problem is that this practice is closed and I can't get my records.

My daughter has been quite ill with no explanation starting 10 days ago. However, she obviously has metabolic syndrome due to lab information. Dr. Holland looked at her paperwork and labs while we were in the room, said everything looked normal. He said there was nothing he could do for her. He suggested I watch her sleep to see if she has sleep apnea. If she had sleep apnea how would that suddenly change her symptoms 10 days ago. So, we left. The office is FILTHY. There was a bloody booger on the wall by the exam table, dirt and food all over the floor boards, piles and piles of hair under the table and in corners. The receptionist was "too busy" to help callers. She was too busy eating. I watched one mother and child storm out without asking for the follow up appointment card--obviously she was not coming back. EPIC FAIL.

A great Doctor, but thankfully not a typical office. They are interactive, friendly and caring. They took the shock and fear out of our son's Type 1 diagnosis and we will always be grateful for that.

Dr. Holland is my favorite doctor to take my daughter to. We've seen him for four years now for 22q deletion syndrome. He is very relaxed and caring, great bedside manner! I like that he supported my decision to breastfeed my daughter well past her first year.

Dr.Holland has absolutely no bedside manners. My son hates going to his office. He has a holier than thou attitude and has no empathy for his patients. We are leaving his practice and going to a different pediatric endocrinologist.

Dr. Holland has always been wonderful with my son. We have been going to him for 4 years now.. Since my son was 18 months. My son does not mind going at all and thinks Dr. Holland is funny!

Dr. Holland is just strange. He has trouble making eye contact and talks to my child in such a weird way. I don't know how else to say it! My other complaint is with his office staff. The gals are some of the rudest I've come across. While listening to their phone conversations in the waiting room, I'm always amazed to hear such a condescending tone and all without regard to other customers (patients) within earshot. They also appear to be unkept! By that, I mean that they may wash their hair once a week? Just overall a very unfriendly office!

I'm not sure what the other person who rated this doctor is talking about. Dr. Holland is very knowledgeable and he always takes the time to listen to my questions and concerns. He's a great doctor and provides great care to my child.

Dr. Holland really only sees things on way - his. For a pediatric endocrinologist he is not terribly concerned with providing children and teens with the tools and information the need to to take care of themselves in the best possible way. He is critical and belittling when you seek a second opinion.
