Dr. Lauderdale did a very thorough assessment that allowed him to quickly and effectively target the issue and put a treatment plan into practice. Very competent and comfortable to work with.

Waited many months to visit the doctor. Was anticipating help for my son. Instead, I met a seemingly innattentive man who asked questions you could have got from the Internet. There was no direction, no understanding and he basically stated that there was nothing he could do for us - that what we needed was counselling. He did however suggest a drug trial and seemed miffed at my hesitance. My son stormed out of his office and I told him that now there was going to be a day of hell - he simply just shrugged his shoulders. I definitely do not recommend this doctor .

Our daughter had an excellent experience with Dr Lauderdale. He helped her with anxiety problems and sleep difficulties she has struggled with for years within a few sessions. We found him to be very kind and thoughtful. We would (in fact have) recommend(ed) him to other families.

Dr. Lauderdale has played a major role in helping our family learn how to deal with a number of issues involving teenage mental health. He has introduced both my wife and I to new methods of how to deal with many issues a family faces from day to day. His ability to help us break challenges into smaller more managable issues has help us grow as a family and deal with many of our day to day challenges. Highly recommended!!

We were referred to Dr. Lauderdale by my son's pediatrician for anxiety. Dr. Lauderdale is a kind, knowledgable and professional person who helped my son work towards dealing with his issues. He helped my son develop strategies that have enabled him to learn how to cope in a variety of situations. He treated my son as his own person and encouraged him to participate and understood that my son was the one who could effect change in his own life with the proper tools. I am very happy with Dr. Lauderdale and would recommend him to anyone looking for a psychiatrist for their teen.
