I have seen dr Chen for over 5 years and even after moving twice, I still drive to see him, if you are looking for someone who is very capable with experiences, he is the one. If you are looking for a gentle, polite dentist who greet you every visit or do thorough explanation, maybe find someone else. I probably won't take small children to him just because how he is.

No patience and not knowledgable. For patient w/o insurance, he can even do root candal treatment.

I wouldn't call this dentist helpful, amicable, or particularly patient. Made no attempt to welcome me, make me feel comfortable. When I said I was experiencing pain, instead of calming me, he insisted that I must be wrong. He became agitated when I repeated that I was in pain, and then said he would have to stop if I couldn't handle the procedure. A few minutes later, after a little more local anesthetic, and the pain was gone. When I called his office for follow up advice regarding serious pain I was having the following week, his receptionist said that he would call me back and he never did. Would not recommend.

I am a general dentist and my entire family of 4 sees Dr. Chen for our dental care. He is skillful, honest and with tremendous personal integrity. My extended family also sees him for treatment. A great dentis with a kind heart! What more can you ask for?

We have been seeing Dr. Chen for around 4 years now ever since he started his own practice. We have also referred family and friends to him because of his excellent skills and care. I work as a general dentist out of town and leaves my family's dental needs in his skilled hands. He is the dentist of a dentist.

I started seeing Dr. Chen in 2010 when I need to get my all four wisdom teethes out. He is very patient, very nice and he knows very well what he's doing, which I think my previous dentist doesn't. After that, I have my routine check with him. Every time he takes the picture first and explains to me in a way that I can understand. I highly recommend this dentist. Besides, the receptionist is extremely nice.

He is the worst doctor I have ever met. My 5 years old was little anxious of the pain and asked him whether it was going to be painful. His answer was if you do not cooperate it will hurt you and he also showed bad examples to my son. It totally screwed him up and made him extremely nervous during check up. Then he taught me that I should be tough to calm him down, etc yelled or punish him if he was not cooperated instead of comfort or cheerful. He told me an example: one little boy was treated inside the room, and his father just sit outside, but when he heard his son's scream, that father just yelled outside, right away the kid being quiet. During the treatment, that doctor is also impatient and told my son that he is effeminate. My son began to see dentist since 3 years old and every doctor is cheerful and nice, then he feel fine to see dentist. But this experience made him very scare to all dentists. So if you do not want your son HATE dental treatment, NEVER visit this doctor.
