Had Dr. James Bruno for Robotic Prostatectomy, Jan. 2008 at Lenox Hill Hospital, NYC. Excellent results, restored to best can be expected. Nerve sparing successful, no incontinence whatsoever, after 6 week dry up. Regular visits last 5 years with no issues. PSA zero. NY Hospital service a bit lacking.

I can't understand the reviewers that called him rude and unhelpful. I have been to him several times and found him helpful, fully explaining what he would do and why, and with a very pleasant manner. I could tell he was trying to make an unpleasant procedure less painful, understood and was doing his best to keep me relaxed and calm.

I was very impressed with the staff and the doctors at Urology Associates of Danbury. Dr. Bruno is extremely professional, spent a lot of time answering my questions and adressing my concerns. He has a great bed-side manner and I certainly will recommend him to friends and family.

Very rude, condescending, disrespectful, arrogant and impatient. I felt humiliated, and bullied. I would never return and would never recommend this doctor. I don't care how great his credentials are, I have never been treated this badly by a doctor before.

This doctor is rude, thinks patients should know everything he knows. When in reality were going to him for advice. He talks to patients like theyre dumb and he is truly unhelpful

Bad communicator; condescending,egotistical, disresectful, the kind of doctor I thought had died out 20 years ago. Staff is fine, other doctors in practice are fine.
