Some of the comments here make me wonder if I saw the same doctor. He was really hard to talk to - would ask a question, and then start talking over me as soon as I started to answer. He came across as quite pushy and arrogant, dismissing my previous diagnosis immediately (and then eventually diagnosing me with the exact same thing by the end of the session, which made it even more frustrating). Was also very pushy with the drugs he prescribed, and wouldn't listen to my previous negative experiences with drugs from the same family. I walked out of the session extremely frustrated, and the script went in the bin as I felt he hadn't actually listened to anything I'd said, so I didn't feel confident in what I was prescribed. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Dr Blumberg has been my saving grace. He had saved my life multiple times. If it wasn’t for his unwavering support over the last 15 years my children may not have me today. I am forever grateful.

Dr Blumberg is down to earth...layed back and not too serious.
Has a laugh with you however empathetic and knowledgeable with help and guidance

I have had the opportunity and privilege to receive care from Dr Blumberg for 15 years. He took over my care in 2004 and has been nothing short of amazing in his ability to rehab me from a dreadful psychiatric case. Unlike a lot of psychiatrists he will never let you leave with anxiety, and will return call messages as much as reasonably often. He knows his patients in depth and his compassion and ability to develop self esteem is second to none. I would recommend him to all people looking for a private psychiatrist in Perth.

Dr Lawrence Blumberg is up himself. He needs to either reduce number of patients or work longer hours.

Seemed to get bored when my depression didn't magically disappear under his care. Cavalier attitude with SSRIs. Disappointing.

I've been seeing The Good Doctor for in excess of 10 years. He has never dropped a patient, has saved my life repeatedly, has literally given me hope. Prior to psychiatry, he was a GP for ~10 years and has excellent biophysical insights also.

His benevolence, integrity, and tenacity is second to none. There might not be angels, but there are people who might as well be angels. Everyone I've met has had similar experiences. A true mensch.

OTOH, hIs handwriting could use some refinement. ;-)
