I found Dr. Valente to be a total idiot! Obsessive, rude — one visit did it for me! Never heard from him with test result either. I’m certain it’s long past his time to retire for the good of innocent patients👎 HORRIBLE 👎👎

The worst specialist ive ever seen. He will not listen to your concerns whatsoever. His merhod of practicing medicine is stuck in the 1970s.He has blinders on and eve eye ything is black or white. There is no middle. If u disagree he will nearly throw you out of the office- because its his way or the highway. RUDE MAN

I have been a patient for 30 years and I am a nurse myself and wife of a physician. I am appalled at how this practice is run.
I go in for a yearly appointment and they make you make your next appointment at the end of your visit.
When you call to cancel the following year, you CANNOT get a person on the phone so you leave a message as instructed to cancel. This year, I gave 6 days notice .
And then you receive a bill for a NO SHOW FEE of $25 dollars.
This is the third time this has happened to me but this time, I took a screen shot of my phone log.

In addition, This MD/ Office staff will not follow through and send your prescription to your pharmacy-you call, you leave messages and NO RESPONSE.
My daughter and I have both had repeated experiences such as this-we are looking for a new endocrinologists.

I have been a patient of Dr. Valente for 20 years. I've followed him from private practice at Mercy's POB to St. Agnes and back to Mercy. He is dedicated, knowledgeable, caring and takes his time to explain your treatment and options. I have enjoyed being his patient and look forward to continue having him as my Endocrinologist.

Does not listen! Dr. Valente does NOT explain all avenues for treatment. He is only willing to talk if you agree with everything he says. Try disagreeing with him and I guarantee he will usher you out the door so fast. He didn't even finish taking my blood pressure. Is this a doctor you want treating you?

I have been Dr. Valente's patient for 10+ years. I trust him and appreciate the care I have received over the years. Specifically, we have strengthened our doctor/patient relationship, and I feel more comfortable going to my medical appointments armed with questions. He always takes the time to address my concerns and often calms me down. Dr. Valente and his assistant, Val, have created an atmosphere of safety and calm, and for that I thank them. D. Walker

I have been seeing him for some years now and he is great! Everyone is so nice in the office. I have never had any trouble getting my appointments. I always feel that he gives you his time and answers all questions you may have for him. I am well pleased to be his patient.

Totally disagree with other rating. I find the staff extremely efficient and helpful. I've never had a problem getting an appointment. Dr. Valente is always willing to talk and answer questions and explains all avenues for treatment.

Front staff is extremely rude, phone calls not returned, difficult to get an appointment, unresponsive to concerns, cavalier attitude towards management
