Maren was a wonderful midwife. She was exceptional with our 3 yr old son, and engaged him in all of our appointments. I would absolutely be thrilled to have her as a midwife again!

Maren helped me have a healing birth experience after a traumatic experience with my first born. Although she wasn't there to deliver my baby, she gave us excellent care and advice and really took her time with us throughout my pregnancy. She is gentle and soft spoken and is the perfect mix between medical and natural - always had a natural remedy I could try for any problem but did not hesitate to recommend medical intervention/medication when needed. Loved my experience with Maren, and hope to see her again with any future pregnancies!

This midwife is so against people making their own health decisions, that she actually almost made one of Manitoba's most respected midwives, Cara McDonald, lose her job for respecting people's birth choices! Cara was found to be competent, but she went to practise somewhere else, so we lost her!

Maren pretended that she was on board with natural birth until my last few weeks of pregnancy when it was too late to switch midwives! I actually had to hire a doctor to get the natural hands-off birth that I wanted. Very disappointing. She is way too nervous and sneaky.

Maren delived my beautiful daughter this past March. She was very helpful at any appointments we had with her. It was the best expierence having a midwife for my delivery. I would highly recommend Maren and her midwife team to anyone. If we have another child I hope to be in her care.

I found her voice loud and constant during labor. Otherwise, she was primarily there to socialize with the other midwife. My regular second midwife was on vacation so the birth was the first and last time I met Maren. She left during my labor and missed the birth. I ended up getting injured during the delivery and I've lived in a lot of pain since that day.

After a conventional hospital birth with doctor, I decided to use a midwife for my second birth. Maren was very patient, explained everything I needed to know, gave pros and cons and let my husband and I make decisions and supported us in them. She was the perfect blend of natural and medical for us, and when my labour didn't progress and we ended up at the hospital, being induced, she stayed and explained things and supported us throughout. We felt very well taken care of, and much less afraid of the process with her guidance.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Addressed every question I had and made me feel at ease and comfortable! I couldnt imagine having anyone else to be there to delivery my baby.I would definately recommend her to anyone planning to use a midwife.

She Helped deliver my second son at home, and is my midwife for my third baby. She is really gentle and supportive. She goes beyond her duties as a midwife to ensure my mental health issues are also cared for. Awesome midwife. I feel confident and safe with her there for these births. If you are scared , or a new mom wanting to do the homebirth thing, shes definitely a good fit, because her voice in so calming and reassuring. She has a good balance of letting you do things on your own, and stepping in. As someone who was clueless and scared out of my wits, i found her to be a great comfort.

VERY knowledgeable, care for mother and child equally important. Dealt with facts and concerns professionally. Easy to get along with. Nothing negative about her in any fashion. Willing to and did go above and beyond expectations. Available 24/7 even on days off. Amazing Follow up! Very real and realistic person. If you don't love her at the end of it all, you have really lost out! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
