Dr Jernigan is definitely one who thinks he knows more than he actually does. Don't bother asking for referrals because that is not going to happen. Will misdiagnose while acting certain he knows what he speaks of. Shows favoritism and doesn't like proactive parents, so beware if you have knowledge. He will make sure you pay for it.

Front receptionist is horrible. She isn't friendly at all and will just give you a certain look when she doesn't feel like doing something out of the way - actually her job. Dr himself is all right. Doesn't go into much detail at all. Over all not the best place around.

Don't waste your time or energy! Comes off nice initially..but is really cocky! Has said some offensive things to my child about his weight in a candy coated way during a visit, acts like he knows EVERYTHING, promises referrrals that he doesn't provide and then tries to dictate your healthcare decisions. He wants all the control and credit..Doesn't care about you and doesn't want you to get a second opinion! He'll take your money though! Forget the Hypocratic Oath..he probably never took one!! Parents and individuals...look elsewhere. Brunswick Forest is a joke for healthcare!!! Even had an issue with a male PA in Urgentcare not giving my daughter an antibiotic one time when she was really sick and needed one. Had to go elsewhere to get one and pay 2 doctor bills that day! They need to get more and better doctors (also with an Urgentcare) on this side of the bridge!

I have been going to Dr. Jernigan for year. He has listened to my concerns & addressed them. My husband & I had trouble with our prescription provider; his office was very helpful in getting it straightened out. The front desk has always been very professional, courteous & helpful.

Wainted a long time in the waiting room. Also they forgot me in the room to get seen. Poor time in calling me back. Spent 5 minutes with doctor on a serious matter and he was done. Medication perscribed could have been deadly when I looked into the interactions taken together. DON"T GO. Find another MD please!

Front desk staff are awful and could care less about getting you help. I was sick and did not feel like arguing with these clerks that act like a triage nurse without brains. The Doctor may be the best in his field but with staff like this it will surely hurt his business. You need to send some test patients to confirm what others are saying. A clean sweep of the front desk crew would be a quick solution to most of the Dr's problems.

failed to send in prescription. i went by and called pharmacy two days before calling back to check whereabouts. imagine how he would handle an emergency. dr jernigan addresses only what he likes and ignores or forgets the rest. i was very surprised at his omissions as he is very nice and charming and more convenient to visit.
