Not knowing this, I eventually started telling her things about my past that I wanted to try to work through. Because the person that was paying my bill was a part of some of these issues, Ms. Hintz told me that I was lying. I was very hurt, but I went back for one more appointment to try and work it out with her. She wouldn't have it. I think she just thought that if she didn't side with this other person, then she'd lose our business. Well, she lost it, but because of her neglegence and questionable ethics. On another note, I know of two other friends that have seen her for eating disorder issues. One of them realized that Ms. Hintz was no help to her and changed therapists (and is doing well now). The other is convinced she's cured because of Kori, yet remains very unhealthy in her eating habits.
