I have been seeing Dr. Ali for the last 4 years, and in my opinion he is one of the best sports medical professional in Toronto. He has basically treated every part of my body with various treatments that were very effective in reducing my pain. I really appreciate the time he spends with me during my treatment which is a very big change from the “10 min” treatment that is shown by other chiropractors. Ali is very knowledgeable in his craft and is a very good communicator. He makes sure he communicates that what is expected from the treatment and that is going to take time for the injury to go away and there is no quick fix. I highly recommend Dr. Ali.

I'm an elite paddler who has been training every day rigorously for the past 6 years. Every year, I compete in numerous competitions and my body goes through a heavy wear and tear. I try to keep myself in my best shape and form to avoid any injuries,
Two years ago, I injured my lower back while paddling and it was to the point where I couldn't sit still for 30 ,mins at a time. I had a national competition coming up in 3 months and I was desperate to find help. My training was limited due to my injury. Every chiropractor I went to offered me the advice to either " stop paddling" or they would crack my back and told me I would be required to return every week until I stopped paddling to get better. No one offered ,e a long term solution. After an unsuccessful month of seeking help, I decided to google the best chiropractor in Toronto. Dr. Ali Kheradmand came up in my search and based on his reviews, I decided to seek his help.
My first visit to dr Ali was incredible. Out of all the chiros I had seen, he was the only one who wanted to see a video of what I was doing. Having one on hand, I showed up and he identified the cause of my lower back pain. Rather than telling me to stop paddling, dr Ali promised me that in 3 weeks, if I came twice a week,he would ensure that I will not only heal from the injury but I would strengthen the weak areas of my body. Using acupuncture, not only was I able to sit again, but I competed at the nationals successfully without pain. I did dr. Ali's prescribed homework and that really helped. I have not seen dr. Ali since then about my back.
The one thing that makes dr Ali so awesome, is his genuine care for his patients. He's there to find long term solutions and not quick fixes. He's there to maintain and to help those in need. I trust dr Ali fully to help me when I'm in need. Downto earth, knowledgable and always putting patients first, dr Ali is definitely living up to his name... As the best chiropractor I'm Toronto.

I went to him for sacrial joint pain and he just put acupuncture needles and boasted how he treats Raptors and sports people.. My pain was back in a week and with the amount I paid him was double the amount I paid to a experienced chiro who has treated me and made my life get back to normal.. He may be good but personally I didn't feel it

Dr. Ali is phenomenal guy. In my 63 years I've met number of doctors, but none of them I can compare with Dr. Ali. He is really one of a kind in his approach, attentiveness to my questions, conversation, explanation of condition etc. In my first meeting with him, I felt as if I know him for a years. He is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable in his field. I come to see him recently for my sciatica nerve being pinched by herniated disk, coupled with stenosis, which makes not quite pleasant feelings. Dr. Ali helped me tremendously to alleviate pain. Thank you Dr. Ali. Much appreciated. John B. Rnjak, B.Sc., M.Sc.

Dr. Ali is great! I've never had a chiropractor that uses acupuncture before but I've found it to be really helpful. He uses a combination of different techniques and while I am not yet at 100% I'm definitely healing and have noticed a marked improvement. I was hesitant to go to him (I actually found him on this site and didn't know of anyone who had been to see him -- which is usually how I hear about good doctors) but I'm so glad that I did. He has helped me and is continuing to do so. He's kind, helpful and most of all knows his stuff. I don't trust a lot of chiropractors but I trust him.

Dr. Ali is amazing. He is aggressive with his rehab programs, but also extremely cautious. I trust him completely. You can tell after just one session with him that he loves what he does. He’s also very personable; I felt extremely comfortable with him from the start. Dr. Ali also makes himself available to his patients via email because he truly cares about being there for them. If you have any questions about your recovery or treatment, shoot him an email and you’ll receive a very timely reply.

I tore my ACL and lateral meniscus. I was on crutches for two and a half months and lost basically all the muscle and range of motion in my injured leg. After an arthroscopy to repair my meniscus it only took Dr. Ali 2.5 weeks to get me off the crutches. He knows how far to push and if you let him work his magic and follow what he tells you to do at home, you’ll be amazed with the results. I got my leg nice and strong (I was even able to do one-legged jump squats) to prepare for my ACL reconstruction surgery. I had the surgery last month and have been back in rehab for a few weeks now. At my 4 weeks post-surgery checkup, my surgeon said I was already 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Dr. Ali really knows what he’s doing. I feel stronger each day and have really learned a lot from him.

I am a competitive paddler and blew my shoulder out three seasons in a row. I was getting pretty discouraged and had seen too many RMTs, Physiotherapists and Chiropractors who insisted that I rest. They just don't 'get it' that when it's your season to compete you just go, no matter what. I need their help getting through it, not to be told to stop. I discovered Dr. Ali quite by accident and was pleasantly surprised to discover that he totally understood the level of training that I do and that I have to find a way to keep going, even when my body is not cooperating. He knows how to deal with an athlete under extreme stress, both physical and mental; he gets to the source of the problem, gets you stabilized, and works with you to find a way to keep going and, most importantly, to prevent re-injury. You just really need to the 'homework' he assigns. He gave me exercises to do, which I still do religiously, and I have not had a shoulder problem ever since. Not only does he treat the source of your physical stress, but he understands the mental stress that is caused by injury; for a competitor, injury can be disastrous. Dr. Ali understands this and is always calm and reassuring. To hear him say “Don’t worry about this, we’re going to get you through it” instills a level of confidence in me that I don’t often get from therapists of any sort. If you are an athlete, Dr. Ali is your Chiro!

Dr. Ali is caring, attentive and personable. His goal is to treat you, and educate you to strengthen you body to heal and prevent further and future injury. I met Ali over 3 years ago when I had a golf injury, during my first visit he described how he would help me, what I would need to do to assist in my healing and also educated me on how I could avoid further injury. He also accurately predicted how long my recovery would be. While in treatment for my arm, I got a foot injury which he quickly assessed and offered to help with, then a shoulder injury and most recently a car accident injury - not sure what I would have done without him! He has repaired me and I am able to enjoy & maintain my active lifestyle. I consider myself very lucky our paths crossed. The doctor who referred me to Ali was a BIG fan of his, speaking highly of his success with her family member - she couldn't say enough good about him. Now I feel the same way. I agree with others who say you feel like you have a new friend, he's never far away when you need him and quick to respond to your queries. A BIG plus is his coaching in exercises to strengthen - very helpful to prevent further injuries, build a strong body and maintain an active lifestyle. I recommend him highly!

I have seen many practitioners - of various types - over the years for chronic and recurring back pain. Dr. Ali has been the most effective in both treatment and knowledge transfer to date. His theoretical background, and his ability to communicate it, have been pivotal in improving my quality of life. In addition, I find him flexible, helpful, and friendly.

Biography

Dr. Ali Kheradmand graduated from the Chiropractic Degree Program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2009 and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2002. Since 2009, Dr. Kheradmand has built a successful practice working with patients, including seniors, children, dancers and athletes, to develop programs with which to achieve their personal goals. His approach to therapy involves a straightforward look at the factors affecting injury, such as the mechanism of injury, the time since onset (chronic versus acute), sporting/occupational activities and other complicating effects. Complementing this assessment, Dr. Kheradmand uses an evidence-based, active-oriented rehabilitation to achieve the best results possible. Dr. Kheradmand believes that the best therapists are those who teach their patients how to relieve short-term symptoms and achieve the long-term goals of their healing process, an attitude he carries with him in his practice. In addition, Dr. Kheradmand appreciates the role that medical specialists (sports medicine, orthopaedics, plastics) can play in injury healing and prevention, and does not hesitate to refer to his team of appropriate specialist which consist of multiple family physicians, sports medicine, orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons and more, when it will benefit the patient. Dr. Kheradmand also believes in the importance of continuing education in the health care field, and has kept current by attending courses in advanced techniques within the scope of Chiropractic, such as acupuncture, which have benefited his patients. Dr. Kheradmand also has an extensive background in fitness and competitive body building and is one of the only Chiropractors in Canada that has the privilege to teach family medicine residents at St. Josephs Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital.
