As you have kept your identity anonymous, I shall do the same. I appreciate the time you took to look me up on this site to post a review, and I am sorry that you have come away with these perspectives, but your opinions are formed based on misinformation. In fact, we tried calling you to correct your interpretation, but you ignored our messages. Allow me to answer to your points in order.

I respect your opinion of me, however it is difficult for me to be "pushy with using the maximum insurance" when you gave us very limited information on your coverage. I cannot push what I do not know. I cannot drain an insurance company that, to my understanding, did not even cover your retainers. I only serviced you on what I showed you that was necessary and you agreed to.

You are correct with my quote, however, you are not comparing "apples to apples". What you received for $450 is NOT the "exact same", and that I can GUARANTEE. Just the lab cost of our Invisalign retainers is nearly $400 and this is an internationally standardized price for all CERTIFIED offices, which we are. This is NOT INCLUDING any of the other treatment I was offering you. I can assure you that what you received is a knock off, as many orthodontic offices promote the name branded product, but may offer you the "no name" brand for cost purposes. I stand by my estimates, and I even go so far as to GUARANTEE that my price is the lowest, provided the service is equal, which in this circumstance, I welcome you to contact us so we can verify for you. All dentists in Ontario follow the same Fee Guide that we do, so pricing given the same service will always be the same.

Your finances and concerns were acknowledged, which is why we tried calling you to see how we could work out a financially feasible alternative, but you chose not to return our calls.

At any rate, I am sorry to see that we were not able to meet your needs, and wish you the best moving ahead.

Dear sir/madam,
As you have kept your identity withheld, I cannot recall any patient case as yourself in our database. We never advise patients that teeth need “attention”, they either need treatment, or not. Our recommendations are not influenced by when you last sought out a professional. If they need treatment, we do not “keep an eye on them”. As well, our patient co-ordinators are trained to encourage patients to receive necessary care as prescribed by the dentist only, acting preventively to avoid a worsening oral health condition. Perhaps you got our office confused with an alternate experience.

Unfortunately, as your comments are very vague, and you have not identified yourself, I cannot recall your situation to respond to your claim, however, if we "didn't seem to care", I would not be responding to your message. We care for all our patients, and as much as we strive to meet everyone's expectations, we hope that for those that we cannot meet, perhaps they can advise us with some constructive criticism in person so that we can identify and correct any weak points we may have. In fact, I can candidly say that we have a very conservative approach to dental health, discouraging patients from getting unnecessary elective treatments. We are always willing to listen, and hope to hear from you at our office.

Dear Sir/Madam
The only products we offer in our office are oral health care aids like toothbrushes and irrigating devices and are meant to assist the patient with home care in order to help REDUCE the necessary professional dental visits, which in essence will SAVE the patient time and money in the long run. Besides, we sell our products at cost, which is well below store prices, even Costco! Our goal is to help our patients in whichever way works best for each individual. If our staff appeared "pushy", that was not the intent, they merely wanted to improve your oral health. If you should encounter this situation again in the future, please advise us a to the office so that we could more directly address it. Thank you for your comments.

We are sorry to see you had this impression of us, that is not our intention. Everyday we see how these oral care aids help our patients imprive their condition, and encourage all those who need it to take advantage of the fact that we sell them at cost price, with no markup for us! They are well below store prices, and we offer them this way as a benefit to our patient base, which leads to LESS professional time and LOWER cost for the patient while improving their health. Trusting you have found a practice that better meets your needs, but in general, patients are better served if they relay such concerns like yours directly to our office manager for immediate resolution.
