I have had nothing but excellent service and attention from your dental service team. I've had a fear of dentists from a very young age because of several bad experiences.Although I'm still nervous before every appointment Dr. Dana Colson and Associates provide a calming atmosphere that helps me settle down. Thank you for wonderful service.

I have had amalgam fillings replaced safely, and had my crooked lower teeth straightened using Invisalign. Dr. Colton is knowledgeable, caring and thorough. Her staff is uniformly responsive to my needs and efficient as well as kind. I appreciate how well my mouth and teeth have been cared for. Thanks!!!

I have known Dr. Colson since 2000, and Dana and her staff are fantastic. Having had surgery twice, I don't know what I would have done without them. They have a unique talent of making an unpleasant experience bearable; Dana is a credit to her profession. Thank-you very much Dr. Colson.

Dana has been my family dentist for many years. She is the only one I trust with my mouth.

Went here for “orthodontic” treatment and was left with ongoing problems must worse than I started with. Dr. Colson was rude and dismissive bordering on fraudulent. I would recommend avoiding this dentist.

After moving to the Niagara area in 2018, I decided to look for a holistic dentist who would treat several oral health issues that had never been addressed, despite having a host of procedures done by conventional dentists for the past 20 years. Rosemary spent a long time listening to my concerns and coming up with a treatment plan. Over the course of the next year I had all my amalgam fillings removed, several teeth bonded due to gum recession, an overlay and a crown to replace old fillings, and some cracked teeth repaired. The results are, not only have my teeth never looked better but, more importantly, my constantly red, inflammed gums which several previous dentists had dismissed as 'nothing to worry about' for years, are finally pink and healthy.
Every appointment I've had at Dr. Colson's has been a positive experience. The receptionists are pleasant and accommodating (as I have a long drive from St. Catharines, they try to get in as much dental work as possible to make my trip worthwhile). Dr. Colson did the amalgam removal herself, quickly and efficiently as well as lasering and sealing my cracked teeth rather than risking further cracking by grinding them down. Lillianna did a beautiful job of bonding with flawless colour-matching. When one particularly tough bond (on a bridge tooth) failed, she redid it without charge. Also, when, despite being warned not to, I popped off a temporary overlay by flossing, I was given an emergency appointment and it was repaired at no cost (even though it was clearly my fault).
I found that patient safety, comfort and overall health are priority: oxygen, googles, face protection, air purifier, infrared pads to ease jaw pain (I've been in the chair for up to 3 hours), Sandra's wonderful reflexology treatment for the feet (to relieve tension), far infrared rays, negative ion therapy mat to lay on and a refreshing freshly made juice at the end of every session.
I could not ask for a better experience in a dental office and will gladly continue to drive the 1.5 - 2.5 hours one way to ensure that my smile remains healthy.

The ladies sitting at the front desk were not the nicest to be honest however once I bypassed them I was treated amazing! I was greated by Hayla who had an amazing smile and helped with pape work and offered me tea. I was seen by Dr. Naz who was so sweet she was assisted by Francesca who made sure everything was to my liking and Haleliah did a wonderful job helping me with directions home. Aside from the initial rude front desk I am so happy with the amazing service!

Biography

With Wellness Based Dentistry™ clients are receiving dental care that preserves more than their teeth. With a strong belief that the mouth indicates the general well-being of the whole body, Dr. Dana Colson, along with her Associates, are bringing together leading-edge technology and natural medicine to give clients award-winning smiles that enhance their lives. In her own words: Having graduated from Dentistry in 1977 from the University of Toronto, I was fascinated with how the health of the body was reflected in the mouth. My interest in dentistry stemmed from my fear of dentists. I chose the profession of dentistry because I was determined to overcome my fear of dentistry and help others. The more I learned about the art and science the more my fears diminished. I believe that our clients need to be provided with significant information about their mouth and the various options that are available to them so that we can co-diagnose and co-explore the different opportunities together. Today the technology allows us to create amazing results with minimally invasive dentistry.
