Dr. Sheikh has been helping me with my post- mva treatment . From the first session I had in May and up to this this time ( Dec 2020 ), I can say that I have improved significantly. Thank you, Dr. Sheikh for your clinical expertise!

I’ve dealt with upper back pain for several years and have been to numerous practitioners in the past. Every one that treated me previously only provided temporary relief - this changed since I’ve started seeking chiropractic care from Dr. Sheikh.

Dr. Sheikh explained that the pain may be structural and laid out a thorough treatment plan. He took the time to explain the treatment and made sure I was comfortable and understood what was being suggested. In a matter of a few short months, I feel a real difference in my body and my upper back pain has improved significantly.

I was first referred to Dr. Sheikh by a co-worker and visited the clinic out of convenience (it was located 2 minutes away from my office). I’ve since moved on and now travel approximately 35-40 minutes just to continue my alignment and corrective care sessions with Dr. Sheikh.

The Elign Health Centre team (especially Crystal and Roberto) are friendly, attentive and do a great job supporting the practice! Dr. Sheikh and his team always take the time to ensure patients are well taken care every step of the way.

I was referred to Dr. Sheikh and the Elign Health Centro by a Vancouver chiropractor in Sept 2015. I am so happy the stars aligned in this way!

I’ve seen Dr. Sheikh as my primary healer for the past 4 months for treatment of injuries from a car accident. After the accident, I experienced serious pain in the C-Curve of my neck, my left nape and color bone area, and my left rotator cuff/shoulder. I was unable to sleep, position myself for sleep on my left side and was challenged to lift my left elbow. All of this caused fatigue and sadness like despair and challenges with completing a full working day. This has all changed now.

I am elated with results to date (tests taken today (Jan 26, 2016) with computerized pictures speak a thousand words and reveal improved symmetry, inflammation, heat/pain, alignment and more). What could be any better than the test results? The easy answer: My emotions, my physical body, my mental state and my optimism about the future have all been impacted positively by the treatments too!

Without hesitation I recommend Dr. Sheikh and the Elign Health Team. There are many reasons to place your health and spine in the hand of this Doctor. Some of these include:

• Carefully scheduled, planned and carried out assessments. These have given me an understanding of what’s in store. I liked having an understanding of ‘where I’m at’, ‘how I’ve progressed’, and the ‘ultimate destination' - a picture or target for a healthy spine and system. It’s good to know how long treatment will take and what is required to get there.

I am now pain free due to chiropractic care of Dr Sheikh. I used to have chronic back spasms and neck pain, then I had a car accident and it got worse. After coming for treatment with Dr. Sheikh I am pain free, I feel young again. His staff are competent and friendly and I am served immediately. Thanks Doc!!

I have, for decades, endured severe pain in my lumbar region and had exhausted most avenues in trying to find some help and relief.
Recently, a lady friend referred me to Elign Chiropractic Treatment Centre in Burnaby where I underwent 10 sessions of laser therapy (by Alain, the laser technician) and 10 sessions of chiropractic treatment by Dr. Gohar Sheikh.
Following this combination treatment I began to experience less pain, less compression and a straightening of my drooping shoulder, spine and hip.
I found Dr. Sheikh to be an extraordinary doctor due to his in depth knowledge, experience and 100% dedication to his profession. Dr. Sheikh is also the first and only doctor who have informed me that I have a 6th lumbar vertebrae (as opposed to the normal 5) and which in it's turn has one side fused to my pelvis and thus my entire back, shoulders, hips were completely twisted rendering my body a lopsided gait along with intense pain as the vertebrae also touched a nerv.
I found my overall improvement being a small miracle and I cannot enough express my sincerest appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Sheikh for all that he and his very qualified staff has done for me. Having had little hope to begin with I feel this laser & chiropractic combination treatment has given my mobility a great and wonderful new beginning!

As a visitor to Burnaby, I required immediate attention and was accommodated immediately. The examination was thorough, professional and completely accurate. I was able to gain enough relief to allow me to drive 700 kms home where I am now following up with further treatment.

After 10 years of chronic back pain and hundreds of dollars spent on physio and massage a friend suggested a visit to their chiropractor. I had a deep routed fear of chiropractors and honestly I had no idea why. After weeks of contemplation I finally decided to book an appointment. Susan was extremely knowledgable and after just a few short minutes I had all my questions answered and appointment booked. She understood my fear and was able to put me completely at ease. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was treated with the utmost of respect. I felt like a guest and not a patient. Dr. Sheikh was very polite and extremely intelligent. He took the time to listen and at the end of it all I was like this guy really gets it. I had no hesitations and wanted to begin treatment right away. On my second visit Dr Sheikh reviewed my options for treatment based on my results from his testings, xrays, and health history. For the first time in ten years, I finally had answers and more importantly options. I began treatment at twice a week for 6 weeks. I can honestly say I have not felt this good or been this active for as long as I can remember. My family has noticed the difference not only in my posture but also in my attitude. I feel and look better and am the happiest I have been in years. This office is the exact definition of professionalism and genuine caring individuals. I highly recommend Elign Chiro Health. I was referred by a friend to this clinic when I had sciatica pain. I went to see Dr. Sheikh and he did a thorough initial review (so thorough! Never have any of the three other chiropractors I have seen done such thorough testing) He helped identify that an old tailbone injury has caused some long term problems, including some degeneration of my spine, which we are working on. I have been seeing the Dr. 2-3x's per week for the last 4 months, and I can tell things are changing in my life overall. Since the spinal cord is affected by the adjustments he does, and that's what sends signals from our brain to our body, it is no surprise that my life has significantly improved in many areas, including emotional, food cravings and a decrease in sciatica pain. In a few weeks I am due for my second review to see my progress. I like that I have been and will continue to be able to see the actual results by real measurements and tests.
Dr. Sheikh is kind, sensitive, knowledgeable and I feel confident that I am in good hands.
One review mentioned that the treatments are done out in the open area. I am surprised that someone said that because the adjustments are in fact done out of view of other patients. Also, I want to add that the receptionist is wonderful! She is very good with patients, always returns calls in a timely manner, and has a great attitude...consistently! I've never had products upsold to me, but I have purchased products (the pillow is amazing and never had better sleep!), and I rarely ever have to wait for treatment. I'm a busy professional and I know that I will be in an and out for treatments without any delays, which I really value since I am treated 2-3 times per week.
I highly recommend Dr. Sheikh.
