Treatment of my TMJ was totally ineffective and made my symptoms worse to the point it is no longer in a functional range. I had poor range of motion for 20yrs prior to treatment and it didn't decline until I had treatment with Dr. Lin. He disagreed that this could be related to his treatment and told me it was due to getting older during his treatment. My regular dentist confirmed that the Dr. LINS plan would never work but I didn't see a way out of it after prepaying so i tried to communicate my issues but he was always defensive and unpleasant to deal with. I should have known from the first visit when he used a material I thought I was allergic to and responded with ridicule and used it anyways.

Dr Lin attempted to push an unessesary $40,000 jaw/apnea surgery on me when my consult was for a bad baby tooth I still have. He showed pics of patients who have had this surgery one of them being the actual oral surgeon who he referrs to for the jaw surgery. When I asked for non surgical options to remove my baby tooth and bring down the other one, he said that we would discuss that at the next consult appointmenr (the one I would have to pay for). I left his office, disappointed, crying, and very anxious all over something that should have been very simple.
