Dr. Ashley Amalfi is an exceptional plastic surgeon who has gained a reputation for her outstanding work here in Rochester, NY. She came highly recommended by numerous friends of mine who have had the pleasure of working with her for their tummy tucks and breast augmentations.

Dr. Amalfi and her team were amazing to work with! They are all so kind and put you at ease from the moment you walk in the office. After breastfeeding two children, my breasts shrunk and completely deflated. Melissa was so patient with me, as I wanted to have a very natural result for my breast augmentation, and I was very indecisive on the size. Dr. Amalfi even conversed with me on Instagram at 5:30 in the morning when I sent her a question about an implant size she used on another patient. Her advice, along with her calm and caring demeanor, gave me clarity and reassurance. I couldn't be happier with my results! My breasts are so beautiful, and my confidence is back!

Dr. Amalfi is amazing. She is the kindest, most sincere doctor I’ve ever met. She truly cares for her patients and takes the time to get to know them. From the very first visit Dr. Amalfi made me feel so comfortable and took the time to let me tell her my story. She proposed a surgical plan unique to me and what I wanted to get out of the procedure. I went from an F cup with dense heavy breast tissues to a full D and it’s literally a weight off my chest. I couldn’t be happier with the results. No drains, nipple sensation and scarring healing beautifully. I have a rib tattoo and Dr. Amalfi made sure it wasn’t compromised. She is truly an artist and I can’t believe I waited 3 years to get this done. I can finally comfortably workout and do the things I love which I couldn’t do before because of my large, heavy breasts. 100/10 highly recommend her and the entire staff at Quatela Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Amalfi is an incredible plastic surgeon that listens and offers solid advice on a procedure. She not only lets you know what will work but what will not. Due to skin sagging on the back, she suggested liposuction and Renuvion skin tightening combination. 3 Weeks out and the results are incredible. She also redid my tummy tuck scars from years ago that helped lift the sides on my hips. She listens to the patient and has an incredible bedside manner that puts you at total ease! This was the perfect combination instead of a back lift—thank you Dr. Amalfi!!

Dr. Amalfi was the sweetest doctor I have ever been treated by! Her work is incredible. She did my labiaplasty and she made me feel so comfortable. Gave me everything I needed to know about the procedure and the postoperative care before going into the procedure, and was very caring during the procedure. The staff was beyond helpful and very nice. Definitely recommended Dr. Amalfi and her staff at the Quatela Center for Plastic Surgery.

From the first phone call to Dr. Amalfi's office, the service and compassion was evident. Every interaction from front desk staff to nurses to patient coordinators and Dr. Amalfi herself has been exceptional. I am two weeks out from a mommy makeover that included a tummy tuck with muscle repair, lipo of a few areas and breast lift with Galaflex. The surgery went as explained and I was very comfortable on my way home. Dr. Amalfi takes the time to listen to your concerns, your desires, and give guidance and clear recommendations to obtain a great outcome. I love her understanding of the female body, she makes you feel so good, as you are, before surgery, but is so excited for you to get the surgery and feel amazing. I felt pressured by other surgeons to have implants which I did not want. Dr. Amalfi had a solution to give me the lift, use my tissue to give me volume and use the Galaflex for support; my breasts look so perky and amazing! Highly recommend her and her team!

I've waited a long time to post this, in fact, tomorrow is my one year post op appt, and I wanted to give anyone out there looking a for a surgeon the full scoop. I remember how nervous I was to even speak to someone about such a personal journey, let alone show them. Have you ever just gone to your bestie's, swung the door open, plopped down on the couch in your sweats and messy bun, and gossiped while watching the Kardashians? That's what it felt like to be around Dr. Amalfi. Her vibe is that of instant comfort, like I wasn't sharing my deepest insecurities. My consult was filled with laughter and getting to know each other while I tested out sizes/discussed how my most cherished tiny humans destroyed my body along with my self esteem. After having children and working so hard to get my body back, I barely could look at myself naked, and here I was, totally comfortable in front of her; no cares about my truffle shuffle at all! Her staff was incredible, I never felt rushed, not once. The day of, the nurses were the same; I was comfortable and cracking jokes, they calmed my nerves and I knew I was in good hands. Now, the nitty gritty; does the post-op recovery suck? Yes, yes it does. I am always on the go and terrible at resting. But I was prepared; I knew exactly what to expect, and my pain control was so well thought out and I felt like my needs were always met. Now, I have had many surgeries in my life due to a medical condition, so I know my way around a recovery. This was the first time I've had the choice, the others were non-optional. Comparing the two, I have never been more prepared, had such a comprehensive pain management and recovery plan, and had this level of enthusiastic support. If you're still reading, I know you want to know about the mommy makeover results. Giirrllllll, that was the one thing I was not adequately prepared for! I made sure I had realistic expectations, especially given my weird 2nd cousin twice removed pair of melons I handed her. My husband will confirm that upon seeing them for the first time, I looked at them, looked at him, and screamed "OMG YOU SEE THESE BOOBIES?!". And my stomach was flat, I was in awe. But she listened, my natural shape was still there. I had this fear of looking fake, when I just wanted to be me. Well, she delivered. What I wasn't expecting was what the months to come would bring. As my body healed and everything settled, my confidence came back. Stronger than it was before by a ten fold. I wasn't ready for this to make me love myself in a way I hadn't before. I mean, I was washing my face twice a day and putting lotion on my skin. What I mean is, I WANTED to care for myself in a way I hadn't before. I even carried myself differently. Even though no one could tell I had anything done, because I was real good at tucking my tummy into my mom jeans, I WAS DIFFERENT. I felt stronger. I was taking more chances in life, I finally had the confidence to. I had no idea that I'd find myself in all of this! I still looked like me, it was as natural as I wanted the results to look, more than I could've imagined, and I was finally acting more like myself than I had in years. It sounds cliche, but this 100% changed my life! Being finally happy in my own skin and erasing all the space in my brain of negative self talk, left room for me to grow and step into my own. Even further, I had gone for 2 years to pelvic floor therapy to help with my abdominal muscle separation and had that corrected along with my makeover. I went from living at my chiropractor's office due to incredible lower back pain to none. I didn't know that tightening that muscle would relieve my chronic back pain, but here we are! At first, I was quiet about what I had done, I wanted to keep it a secret. But now, I am so proud of what it has helped me do, so far beyond a makeover, that I want to empower any woman out there to put herself first! And also, to get used to giggling every time to catch yourself naked in the mirror, because it's going to be THAT GOOD! Thank you Dr. Amalfi for helping me find ME again!

I am three weeks post op from a breast reduction and lift. My one regret is that I did not do it years ago! I can not stay enough positive things about Dr. Amalfi or her staff. Dr. Amalfi is one of the warmest people I have ever met - she immediately made me feel so comfortable and confident in her that I never even consulted another doctor. My reduction and lift came out amazing and I feel like a new person - and she was there for me every step of the way. The recovery was very managable. If you are considering a reduction I strongly encourage you to start the process and at least get a consultation with Dr. Amalfi. You won't regret it!
