June 2012 I underwent an operation for a sliding genioplasty at Mt. Sinai Hospital. My surgeon was Dr. Gregory Chotkowski, Chief of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. The operation took about an hour and a half to complete as an outpatient. Cost for the whole procedure including operating theater, anesthesiologist, nurse, etc. came in under $10,000 (as of June 2012). I have been happy with the results. I have also been happy with the care Dr. Chotkowski provided and would recommend him if you are thinking of having this particular operation.
