Dr. Wisotsky took away my natural lens during the retinal detachment surgery, but he lied to me that I developed an acute cataract after the surgery. I didn't find out until I saw other doctors. The new doctors told me that my crystalline lens was taken away, and therefore I didn't have a cataract. They wrote "Aphakia" (absence of lens) in my medical records. And the ultrasound images also showed no lens present in my injured eye. Omni eye services even tried to charge me $1600 for laser removal of the cloudy lens, saying laser is not covered by the insurance. But in fact, my lens was already removed by Dr. Wisotsky. When I mentioned about seeing other cataract surgeons, Dr. Wisotsky discouraged me from seeing them, and said ONLY his colleague Dr. Grayson could do my surgery. Ironically, I never met Dr. Grayson during my entire time at Omni. But my "cataract" surgery date was scheduled. Thank God I got a second opinion before that. Dr. Wisotsky fudged my medical records to fit his own version of stories, and to cover up his wrongdoings. The worst physician and eye services (Omni) I have ever seen in my life!

Dr. Wisotsky is an excellent ophthalmologist. Very efficient office. So much so that he is often left waiting for the patients to be prepped and ready for him - vs. the patients waiting to be seen. Always a great experience when I visit this office!

This doctor is extremely condescending. When we gently said we were surprised about the outcome of the surgery, he nastily said we didn’t pay attention to the consultation. He also didn’t bother to explain anything gently and spoke only in medical terminology in a very irritated way. He also didn’t write down the changes in medication but expects you to remember it. Check out his other reviews online and they’re similar. Save the aggravation and go somewhere else!

Nobody better. I really feared my future but Dr Wisotsky was able to fix up my eye. Definitely the best choice I've ever made.

Dr. Wisotsky performed an emergency vitrectomy and several other procedures over the course of 5 months in order to repair a detached retina. I aw sable to make an appointment to be seen by him through my opthamalogist at 11PM on a Saturday night for the following evening. He saw me at his office on a Sunday night, did an evaluation and did the first part of the procedure. The entire process took several months and was not without it's complications but Dr. Wisotsky did an excellent job. His office staff were also quite competent. If you are searching for a Dr. To deal with a detached retina I highly recommend you see Drr. Wisotsky. I feel very fortunate to have found him.
