I work for a downtown Indy hospital and the majority of us have our babies at IU North. Many see Dr. Star. He delivered my last baby and will deliver this pregnancy as well. He is the best there is. I do not care for his nurse Kelly. She is kurt and talks to me like I'm the biggest inconvenience. If I didn't like him so much I would change doctors because of her.

Dr. Star and his staff are amazing! I recently became a patient and have been nothing but thrilled with the care I have received. I've suffered with PCOS for years and have seen many doctors - none of whom have actually treated the disease. Dr. Star performed my surgery 3 weeks ago to remove endometriosis and to drain the cysts in my ovaries. I am so thankful to have found him. I feel better than I have in a very, very long time.

Excellent bedside manners. Quite thorough and sits down and explains everything to you. No blunt but quite honest with patient. He has delivered 3 of my grandchildren and did a wonderful job with my daughters who were high-risk patients.

I trusted him with fertility assistance starting back in 2011. for some unknown reason, i ended up with heavy periods and pollups on my uterus, my nurse practitioner suggested i have dr star remove them. my understanding was that i was going into the procedure to just have the pollups removed, i was just notified by Dr. Star almost 2 years later that the procedure included an ablasion and i have little to no chance of concieving on my own! he maintains that he told me before the procedure, but that is a lie! i would've never agreed to the procedure had i'd known there was a chance of losing fertility. he very cold heartedly suggested to me that i have one of my sisters carry a child for me and even my mother!!! i got a copy of my medical charts and some of the things that he noted after my visits are unbelievable! he concluded that my understanding of what i believed the procedure would be must've been a misunderstanding. kelly is a great nurse,for the wrong dr.totally disgusted by him

Very professional, excellent bedside manner and truly cares for patients needs. I have been a patient of Dr. Star for 17 years and have never felt rushed. Due to another medical issue, my pregnancy was difficult. Dr. Star was always willing to answer any questions and assist in any way, even concerning my medical issue that is non OB related. I would recommend Dr. Star to anyone.

Never punctual. Does not even come close to comparing to my previous OB. Willing to switch and pay out of pocket to switch back. Poor bedside manner. Doesn't take concerns serious and or take the time to get to know his PTs.

Provided inaccurate information related to ovulation meds, does not return urgent phone calls, I had health problems after he performed a D&C due to miscarriage, did not perform or suggest appropriate blood work given my history of thyroid concerns. My life is worse because I had him as my doctor. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

Dr Star is the best OB ever.... He is so nice. He always makes you feel important and that he cares. His whole staff is very nice and I love having him as my OB/GYN. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I recently gave birth to my first baby two weeks ago. Dr. Star is the best Dr. I have ever had! I had the most difficult pregnancy you could ever imagine! He was there for me every step of the way! It seemed like I couldn't catch a break during this pregnancy but he was always there to take care of the problem. He has been my Dr. since I was very young and I recommend him to anyone wanting the best care. I felt not only was he my Dr. but someone I could trust and also someone that truly cared.

Dr. Star and his staff are true professionals that go out of their way to make you feel informed and secure. My Wife and I recently enjoyed the birth of our son, and Dr. Star was there every step of the way. There were slight complications during the labor, so Dr. Star chose to stay overnight in the hospital so he could monitor developments rather than "phone in" his orders. It was a long night for Dr. Star considering he saw patients all day long the previous day. Our son was eventually delivered via C-section early the next morning, but only after Dr. Star felt it was our best option. Some Doctors deliver via C-section or induce for convenience to themselves; this was certianly NOT the case with Dr. Star. He truly showed compassion and concern for my families' wellbeing. We have commented several times in the past that we never felt rushed when we visited Dr. Star during the pregnancy; he always took his time to answer our questions.
