I had a procedure with Dr. Smith and was not completed as I requested. And when ask why the procedure was not done he only said he did not want to do in the hospital and to come back to the office later that month to complete the procedure. I rate Dr. Smith . One star.

I wouldn't even give Dr Smith one star. After waiting 50 mins to be seen, this doctor did not even care to help me with the issue I came to the office for. When I tried to explain once again why I was being seen and asked what could be done to treat it, he just told me to come back in a month and walked out of the room before I could say anything else. The visit was a waste of my time. Not only that, but his bedside manner is one of the worst I have ever encountered in my life. His personality is as dry as a cracker and never once did he smile in the slightest. Not even when he greeted me. Not sure what crawled up his butt but maybe he needs to check his own out. Worst doctor ever!!

Think about it would you rather have a great surgeon when you are in extreme pain or a good bedside manner? Dr Smith did an excellent job on my colon surgery in 2005, as a matter of fact he just about saved my life. He is the best in his field and I am living proof of it. I will always be thankful that Dr Jiles Robertson sent me to him. He knows exactly what he is doing when he is doing it. Enough said about this wonderful surgeon.

Dr. Smith walked into the room without acknowledging me, did the exam, and left. Fortunately, the nurse was able to answer some of my questions but Dr. Smith was not helpful at all. Don't waste your time or money. It doesn't matter how good he is -- if he cannot communicate with his patients he doesn't deserve my business.

THis current rating is VERY unfair..He is a top colorectal surgeon & all the other doctors in town will tell you that-----he is a man of few words which is his only downfall..

Waste of time. He has no bedside manner whatsoever. Go to Dr. Palmintier in the same office, SOOOO much nicer and very knowledgeable and very kind.

Dr Smith may be able to operate but do not ask for or expect bedside manner, perhaps he studied instead of taking those classes in school or just does not care to be bothered with helping his patients deal with recoveries.
