I get Bio- identical Homone pellets every 4 months. I drive from North Carolina because I trust Doctor Armas that much. Dr. Armas is professional, knowledgeable, and cares about his patients. His staff are great as well.

I went to Dr. Armas for issues I was having with my menstrual cycle. He was very thorough with his exams, procedures that I needed to do and explanations of options. I decided on a hysterectomy and he did an excellent job. From start to finish, the quality of care I received was exceptional and surgery went flawless. I would highly recommend Dr. Armas to anyone who is looking for an experienced and personable M.D.

I am an educated woman who was seeking answers during a difficult period of severe menopausal symptoms. I had been given Dr Armas' name by a few acquaintances who thought he could help me. I am leaving this review because I do not want another woman to be subjected to the treatment I was by Dr. Armas.
I have never been treated as poorly by a doctor as I was him. My initial consult with him made me feel like part of an assembly line. Although in my online chart he documented that he thoroughly discussed all risks, side effects and alternatives to bio-identical hormone therapy, he did no such thing. We discussed none of those things. His pelvic exam took less than 20 seconds tops and his hand was on the doorknob when he asked if I had any questions. This isn't why I would not recommend him however. When I returned to review my blood test results, he got defensive when I pressed for details or asked relevant questions. Against my gut instincts about him, I went back to get the pellet insertion. He asked me if I had any questions before we did the procedure and I said I did. I had a question about the male hormones he was prescribing and he said "Do me a favor. I have been doing this a long time and know how best to treat my patients." In other words, do not question me. He then proceeded to condescend further by asking me, "How much testosterone do YOU think I should be giving you?" I was stunned and so insulted. I didn't know what to say. He then said he "didn't feel comfortable treating me" and left the room. 

I realize now that I would never want to have him managing my care through this hormone therapy journey. If a doctor cannot have an open conversation with his patient about her treatment plan, he is not the doctor for me. He shouldn't be a doctor at all.

I have been seeing Dr. Armas for 1 1/2 years now for hormone pellet therapy. I can't tell you how great Dr. Armas was from the very beginning, answering the many questions I had about this process and what to expect. He walks you through every step, listens to how you are feeling and makes modifications to help with any changes you may be experiencing. All of the staff is very courteous and seem to really enjoy each other and working together. It is great to find a Dr. that truly cares.

Quality of life. That's what it's all about for me. I'm so pleased with the recent surgery inserting a sling to support my bladder. I haven't been able to go through a day without bladder leakage for the past 5 years. For 20 years I've dealt with embarrassing moments when I coughed or sneezed. My problem was bad enough for my husband to notice and to encourage me to go through with the surgery. Dr. Armas and his staff gave me so much support when considering this surgery. I'm not suffering any longer and can enjoy physical activity without wearing a pad. I was one of those women facing adult diapers in the near future. Thank you Dr. Armas and your staff for taking my health seriously and doing such an incredible job!

I have been going to Dr. Armas for 2 years at the Riverview office. His staff is always friendly and helpful. I had a mammogram and my yearly exam and was in an out in 1hour but did not feel rushed at all. I would highly recommend Dr. Armas.

I don't wish to end anybody's career or livelihood but I am looking for another Physician. originally dr. Armas was really wonderful I think he's lost sight of what's important I really hope he comes back full circle but I am looking for a new dr. I do not like wasting four hours of my day for routine visits For a five minute exam by him he doesn't even look at you anymore he doesn't have any kind of conversation with you or make you feel comfortable and I don't like the fact that I can't choose my doctor there once you're with him you have to stay with him.

I have been patient of dr armas for many years a tumer was found accidently by Mr I he did tah he was terrific a superior job and the best bed side manners if you have problem or question he has no problem spending the time with you to help at a very emotional time as the surgery causes you to go into surgical menopause he didn't hesitate to get me relief he's the best don't know what I'll do if he retires
