He's tremendously arrogant. I tried to ask a few questions about my situation and what some tests were looking for, and he dismissed the questions out of hand, saying I wouldn't understand. I kept trying and got no information. Apparently patients are just supposed to be seen and not heard, even when invasive tests are scheduled. I am finding another doctor.

My father, who was a patient of Dr. Makrauer 13 years ago at Newton Wellesley Hospital, speaks very highly of the doctor and credits him for saving his life.
