I needed a new MD because I moved down to Florida this year and my friends recommended Dr. Shiman. I am so happy to have met him. He is kind and truly cares about his patients. We could not be happier with our new primary care doctor.

Like going to an internest rather than a qualified physician. Kept waiting for an extended period of time even though I had the first appointment after lunch and the waiting room was empty and I was the only patient waiting to see the doctor. Doctor too busy having free lunch with a pharmaceutical rep and had another pill rep waiting in the wings, but no patients with the exception of me. I found him to be too inexperienced and when asked to refer other specialists he had no experience with any and no recommendations to make. When I asked him to recommend a dermatologist he told me it was too bad my problem couldn't wait because his brother was studying determatology and would be a doctor next year. He was ridiculous and any patient needing real medical advice should look elsewhere. For a flu shot he is probably just fine.
