I started going to Dr. Brady several years ago after being impressed with his as a physician with Urgent Care, because even there I felt like he was genuinely interested in his patients. I have been happy with every aspect of my care through him. He also provided me a great referral to a very helpful specialist when needed. I would say he does the opposite of "throwing pills" - he is very thorough and asks great questions.

I couldn't disagree more with the comments about "throwing pills" at a problem or quick assessments. Dr. Brady is a great listener and detail oriented in his assessments. It's one of the first things I mention when folks ask if I know a good doctor nearby. When doctors make a decision and seem to quit listening before you finish describing your symptoms, it's time to switch doctors. I never worry about that with Dr. Brady because he takes the time to gather all the information available from the patient, from the data he's able to collect from labs or other procedures, and makes sure you're seen by specialists when more information would be helpful. I feel I receive a thorough and a quality assessment and the best personal care possible from this highly qualified professional.

In my option he is dangerous , he missed critical data in tests and did not perform standard test properly. Throws pills at issues

He's been my doctor for 10+ years. He's been consistently helpful, clear about issues and approaches, medications, referrals. I've been pleased with him and would recommend him to others.

This guy acts like he doesn't want to see you or examine you. The exam he gave me for a "complete physical" was a joke, except it wasn't funny. It was pathetic. It took less than 10 minutes. When I called him on it, he got an attitude. I'll never go back to him, or any other doctor at any other Mercy Clinic in the Des Moines, Iowa area.
