Well trained and has a vast amount of knowledge in his field. Professionalism off the charts. Great bedside manners. Understandable, sympathetic, empathetic. Extremely genuine individual, which is very hard to find by in the medical field these days.

Biography

Dr. Antoine Adam is an academic psychiatric hospitalist with a private clinical practice trained in both pharmacologic management and talk therapy to provide comprehensive evaluation and specialized treatment for emotional and psychological problems, relationship issues and psychiatric disorders. He chooses psychotherapy and medication judiciously in order to best meet the needs of the individual in his private practices in Greenwich Village and Lenox Hill. Areas of specialization are adult and child ADHD, solution-focused brief psychotherapies, anxiety and mood disorders, with a focus on job performance, social integration and academic achievement. Dr. Adam focuses on the person not as a disease model, but works with them on how to go on learning how to stand on their own two feet and fulfill their potential. Dr. Adam completed his general psychiatry training at New York Medical College and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Arizona.
