A wonderful Doctor I have nothing but good words to describe Dr. Anwar and staff....very compassionate & friendly

As a young woman with an autoimmune disease I appreciate Dr Anwars knowledge and compassion. I never feel rushed, she always listens to my concerns and sympathizes with me. She necer minimizes my pain and works with me to help find suitable solutions to my ailments. Her staff don't always answer the phone but as a fellow health care professional I know the difficulties of working in a busy clinic while trying to manage patients coming and going and staying on top of an ever ringing phone. My calls are always returned in a reasonable time frame and her staff is courteous. Excellent doctor, Windsor is lucky to have both her and her fantastic husband Dr Anees.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Anwar! I have had RA for many years, and now have pustular psoriasis (possibly psoriatic arthritis) and have seen several rheumatologists over the years, but she is the most attentive and professional of all. Her bedside manner is such a treat and she even has a sense of humour! She makes me feel very comfortable and never rushes through my appointments. I have never had to wait and she goes over and above what I would expect from such a busy and in-demand specialist. Dr. Anwar shares an office and staff with her husband, Dr. Anees, a pulmonologist, and they are all pleasant and approachable. I attend their office every 6 weeks for my IV infusions. When Dr. Anwar was away, Dr. Anees assisted when the nurse was unable to find a vein, then relayed this info to Dr. Anwar, resulting in her referring me to the hospital to have a port put in. This saved me weeks , if not months, at a time when I was extremely ill and in need of this IV medication. The residents of Windsor and Essex County are extremely fortunate to have these physicians!

my first visit to Dr. anwar's office was amazing. I cant imagine anyone would say anything bad about this wonderful doctor. She is super nice and really listens to you. She has really smart ideas and works hard to get you on track with your health. I am very lucky to have her as my physician.

The staff is very unprofessional. Also, the telephone immediately goes to voicemail, and messages are not returned.
It is a shame because Dr. Anwar is such a wonderful physician.

Dr. Anwar is a very compassionate and caring physician. I have been to many different doctors and I have yet to come across a doctor that is so easy to talk to thorough and kind.

Dr. Anwar is a very caring physician. She listens, asks questions and offers excellent advice. She is extremely thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend her!
Unfortunately her staff never answers the phone, your call always goes to voicemail...and the mailbox is always full! I had to have my doctor's office call there to change an appointment I had. I was still unable to get through to the office after weeks of trying. Finally, I drove there and told them they should be answering phone calls or at least returning phone calls when their voicemail is full. They must turn the ringer off so the Dr. doesn't realize they don't answer any calls.
Doctor's staff are just as important as the doctor.

After 6 years of fighting for someone to listen to me about how much pain I was in, Dr. Anwar did! She is kind and listens to what you have to say. She sent me for tests and the next day I received a call to keep me updated of results and what the next step would be. For once I am feeling positive about the care I'm receiving!

Dr. Anwar is really the only good rheumatologist in the area. She did an extremely thorough exam and then gave us a detailed plan. We were very impressed with her. Her office is run very well and the staff is very sweet. I am very happy with her care.

After discussing things through she came up with a plan for me, which was never done by any other doctor. She is knowledgeable and patient.
