I had remarried and had a doctor here in Murfreesboro who I NEVER had the pleasure of meeting, always his nurse practitioners. Which I thought was incredibly strange to have never been introduced to your primary care doctor. I made the switch and I am truly impressed with the care in which I have received from Dr. Thompson. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his field and takes the time in proper diagnosis and what he recommends for you as his patient. I would highly RECOMMEND DR. THOMPSON. VERY BLESSED TO HAVE HIM AS MY DOCTOR.

I would recommend Dr. Thompson as a caring, compassionate, and trusting doctor. I have been seeing him for about 6 years and never had any problems with him or his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr Thompson from the first year he was in practice. He has always been willing to listen to my problems and explain what I can do to resolve an issue. He explains why and how to take a medication. He is not the type of doctor who overprescribes. He is knowledgeable and courteous.I had a problem with a rude call from his office and he wanted the name so he could address the issue with that person. His nurses have been extremely nice. The people who work with him always seem happy to be part of his staff.I do not believe that he would ever do anything unethical.I trust him with my health management. If anyone wants me to recommend a family doctor I always recommend him. Those who say he isn't concerned about pain and won't prescribe enough pain medication are probably those who do abuse pain meds.He has always shown concern for me and if I have to wait very long in his office, he apologizes. I would rather wait and get good care by having him listen to me also.Great Dr.

Dr. Thompson has been extremely rude and arrogant. We would not recommend him for a family physician.

I have gone to Dr. Thompson for 10 years. He has always been a good doctor as long as you are not in pain. If you are you can forget about any help from him. I guess he sees so many addicts he treats everyone as if they are one. I had shingles on my arm two years ago and was only given enough pain meds for four days. I spent the next two weeks in pain and received no help from him. He refused to give me anything that would help. After going to him for ten years and never getting any pain medicine he treated me this way. He has been my wife's Dr. the same amount of time. She recently had a pulled muscle in her back and was treated as was I. His staff is incompetent and rude and you can never get him on the phone. I will not go to him again.

We really love Dr. Thompson. The reason he is not punctual is because he doesn't rush to get you out of the door. He will spend as much time as you need to get your questions answered. We think he is great!

We have been going to Dr. Thompson for 9 yrs. In the beginning he was an incredible doctor. Very caring, thorough, and always made my family and I feel like we were a priority. We never felt like he was rushing with our scheduled appointment. As the years have gone on, Dr. Thompson has become less compassionate and caring and he is always in a rush. Whenever you have an health related issue and you have to call the clinic, you leave a message and sometimes it can take hours for anyone to return your call. When the call is returned, it is usually one of his nurses, and they NEVER seem to be able to get a straight answer from Dr. Thompson. He just never seems to care about any situation ecspecially if that situation has been ongoing and no correct answers to the problems have been found and you keep going back to him for answers. I feel like he just does NOT CARE about his patients. I also feel like some of his patients are too much for him to even want to deal with.

Dr.Thompson makes me feel as we are his only patients, he takes his time to make sure we leave knowing everything we need to know. In finishing up great doctor.

Dr. Thompson is a great doctor, and I am very happy with the service I get from him. Unfortunately, the staff at the front desk has been very rude and difficult in multiple occasions. They do not even listen to the request before they reach a conclusion. It is a task in itself to get an appointment. If you are expecting nice service in the front desk and easy appointments, this practice is definetly not for you!

Dr. Thompson is very friendly. He was very helpful when I found out my newborn had a heart murmur and explained everything to me in detail so I wouldnt be worried about it. I never have to wait long at the office and the visits are short but very thorough and he always takes the time to answer any questions I have. You can tell he likes his job, which is important to me. The only thing I have had a problem with is the staff not getting back to me on phone calls and one particular office lady being kind of rude at a visit.
