Excellent doctor. Approachable and listens to the patient. She is very busy but that means she takes the time to listen to her patients.

She is a great doctor. I have been going to Dr. Sadia Dar for year and its always been a wonderful experience for me. She will call me when my results are alarming and if results are borderline or can wait for the appointment, she will not cause panic. Her staff is very helpful. She is a truly compassionate doctor with great bed side manners.

My initial visit went very well. After that it went down hill. I needed a couple of prescriptions that required "doctor's authorization". I called and gave Dr. Dar's staff the phone number for the authorization. I was told by her staff that my insurance did not cover the prescription and we can discuss other options at my next visit. Well, I call my insurance and as of 12/27, Dr. Dar nor her staff has made contact with my insurance.

My test results were made available the end of November (patient portal). I did not see my cholesterol results. Sent an email. Dr. Dar gave me the numbers and said " I would like to discuss all the results at your next appointment". My cholesterol numbers are out of the normal range. I sent emails from 12/19 - 21 asking if the numbers were alarming, was it safe for me to wait until January and if I could get a prescription to help lower my cholesterol?? As of 12/27 - no response. If I had NOT reach out to Dr. Dar I would have NOT known the numbers were out of whack. It's been my experience that a provider will reach out to you if your results are abnormal.

I believe is all about the "money" and NOT the patient's health. It's been over a month since my results came in and another month will go by before I can go into the office to discuss. I have NEVER in 55 years been require to go into an office for test results - good or bad. My experience is - if the results are abnormal a call or letter was sent out immediately. If needed a prescription sent over to the pharmacy and a game plan set in motion to improve your overall health.

I guess Dr. Dar and AFD doesn't work this way.. All I've gotten - We will discuss at your next office visit. VERY SAD!!

No reason to schedule apt..wait for hrs after scheduled apt. sees you for 15 minutes tells you to come back in one month. Nobody answers the phones. She will not release test results unless you make apt for her to “discuss” with you. I made such apt. The discussion was handing me the booklet and telling me everything was explained inside. To read and if i ?s make an appointment. walk-in apt? Guess that is why people that HAVE apts are forced to wait for hours. Greed for $, not patient’s health. I have NEVER been seen less than 1-1/2,hrs and sometimes 3 from my scheduled appointment time.,Tennas I said 15 minutes, see you next month. After seeing her 3 times and having the same experience I found a much better dedicated, PUNCTUAL doctor that does not double/triple book patients. He is extremely attentive, explains prescriptions he may prescribed, diagnosis, prognosis, and any complications to be aware of. Best office hours too. Dr Adams would be my 5*+ choice, Dr Dar would be my -5*, not even one star would I give her. Too bad she didn’t give her patients credit on their bill in 15 minute increments! If she had she would owe me money. Walk ins should not be accepted. They should use the urgent clinics-that is what they are designed for:?Treat non critical patients that require medical attention. Critical patients know to go to the ER.

Dr Dar has brought back hospitality of a doctor to her patients as practiced decades ago in America by community doctors . She has no fear of working with her patients in order that they receive the best diagnosis for their particular illness and for their individual well being. She observes and listens to her patients; all the while in that exact moment she is formulating in her mind what that patient's needs are. I no doubt believe Dr. Dar has compassion and incredible medical knowledge that I have never witnessed in any other doctor who has treated me in the past.
