Dr. Chesney is without a diubt the best doctor I could ask for. He took great care of me and my baby. During the consultations answered all the questions my husband and I had. Very knowledgeable and caring. He performed outstandingly well during the delivery which was a bit complicated as the cord was wrapped around my daughter's neck and she was turned sideways. He skill fully managed to turn the baby around and take her out. I am very grateful for everything he has done for us and really regret I can't see him now for my second pregnancy as we moved to another state. Definitely recommend Dr. Chesney to everyone.

I have a high risk pregnancy. I'm now just shy of 37 weeks. I have twice weekly appointments and it's been this way for well over a month.. In the over 20+ appointments I've had I have seen doctor chesney SIX TIMES. SIX! During my last ultrasound I found out that my little one had flipped into the breech position. When I talked to him about this he was beyond negative and refuses to do an External Cephalic Version and stated that I needed to think about changing my birth plan. We chose him because he was so incredibly supportive when we first met him... But in all reality he is far from it. He is basically forcing me into having a c-section. I'll be looking for a new OB come Monday morning.
If you want to be a number and not a person or you are ok with a forced c-section.. He's the doctor for you!

He is not my Dr. But he was on-call for my Dr.
I called with an important question , he called me back with in and hour (due to him delivering at the time) and was SO NICE and courteous. He is very informative and understanding.

I visited Dr. Chesney throughout my entire last pregnancy. I was treated just like a number at this place. The staff was rude and unhelpful. I waited for a long time in most cases. While pregnant, I can't tell you how many times I saw other doctors because he was too busy. He has way too many patients and doesn't truly know his patients. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone else. I nearly had a miscarriage and he was not the least bit concerned or sympathetic. I would choose another doctor if you want personalized care. He has absolutely no business seeing patients who have had problems getting pregnant or are high risk pregnancy patients.

I am currently at 31 weeks and probably going to change doctors. Every time I've gone in I've had to wait over an hour and a few times closer to two. I just left once finally and re-scheduled. Also, I had some labs ran for hypothyroid and vitamin D and he did not give a reason for them in the notes (and there was a very good reason for both), so insurance would not pay for it. That was $80 for each of those 3 labs, to total $240. I have since complained about it and we'll see how it turns out, but I have not been overall happy at all. They seemed annoyed when I mentioned it was the doctor's fault that the insurance did not pay for it - because of poor note taking. I am a doctor myself, so I understand the importance of documentation. Every visit has been very rushed. I might spend 5 minutes at the most with the doctor after waiting well over an hour. Besides all of this, he seems like a nice guy.
