One of the best physicians I have ever seen.
She is patient, thorough, and wise. Never rushes...personalized treatment.

I feel like I never know which Dr. Nicholas I will see when I have an appointment. Sometimes she is very caring and other times she has a "wall up". She is usually very rushed. If she spends more than 5 minutes, it is unusual. I go with specific questions and feel I am cut off and rushed through them. I left the office yesterday and cried because of her dismissive attitude because I was feeling so sick. She gave me conflicting advice from a previous visit which I caught and asked about. I would like to have a doctor that tells me what needs to be done instead of me researching and asking.

she and the other staff treat people with eating disorders, so i gave them a try when i was sick. i received the best care i could ever ask for. dr. nicholas always had time for me and everyone there treated me with the utmost respect and kindness. i find her demeanor very calming as she always has a cheerful smile and the attitude that everything is okay. i always left feeling better than i did going in. i honestly couldn't ask for a better doctor.

She's been my doctor since 2008, and I LOVE her. I actually work at another hospital but still use her although it costs me a little more. She's caring and understanding, and really pays attention to the whole person. She takes my complaints seriously, and I have never felt like she just blew me off. And her emphasis on physical activity, and the fact that she leads a running club for her patients says that she goes the extra mile. I know three other people who go to her, and all highly recommend her.

I've seen Dr Nicholas for only small issues but they were issues that was important to me and unfortunately she made me feel I was wasting her time. Getting older I see preventive medicine on my priority list but I didnt feel I got any support there. Her PA on the other hand is fabulous and would recommend her in a heartbeat.

She seems very smart however doesn't give her patients a lot of time. When I have seen her I have always felt as if she were rushing to get through my appts.

Does not seem to know how to treat and respond to elderly patients. Has a set 20 min per patient which is not always adequate depending upon the problem. Also non educating when it comes to answering questions and addressing concerns.

Went to Dr. Nicholas for the first time Dec 08, I was recommended by a co-worker. I had left my previous doctor of 12 years do to the distance and was afraid to go to a new Dr. Dr Nicholas gave me the time and attention I deserved, her office staff even the receptionist where very helpful and friendly. Dorothy McGrath is a great alternative to Dr. Nicholas I have seen her twice this year once for a very bad cold the other for a sprain. Not sure what the bad reviews are about but I would disregard them if you are interested in a kind Dr. and staff then Dr. Nicholas is for you.
